Good niche solution
Used these to wire up a POTS based entry box with existing CAT5e cable using RJ45 punchdown so it is future proof. Nice little hack if you need it

Useful if you install RJ45 ports for standard phone jacks!
I still have standard phones in my house due to my job. I ran Cat 5 with RJ 45 jacks everywhere in my house for future upgrades. This allows me to run my regular phone over the Cat 5 and plugging my phones into the RJ 45 ports. Regular RJ11/RJ14 plugs do fit and work in RJ 45, but to me, they are a bit too loose for my liking.

Very poor product
NO online assistance as advertised. Also instructions are broken english and not clear. Actually knocked my router off line and I had to reset all functions. Adapter would not work as advertised after I got it on.

Good choice for a niche need
Perfect for those niche situations where you still need a Bell telephone cable but have structured CAT5/6/etc structured cabling. Does exactly what it needs to, appears sturdy and of decent quality construction. Delivered quickly. Been using it some time now with no issues.
