United Scientific™ Density Cube Set, 10 Materials Physics Blocks, 1 Inch

As an 8th Grade Science teacher, I have purchased several of these kits to help teach measurement and density’s the containers are fantastic and easy to store. I wish there was a way to purchase replacement blocks as a few of mine went missing and replacing the whole kit for one missing block is not cost effective.

This is a nice little set of cubes to use when learning about density. It came in a blue plastic box, with individual compartments for each cube. There is a label that shows what each cube is made of. The cubes seem to be of nice quality. A good addition to our homeschool.

I made an order from this company ... many science and physics items and they all are very good quality. This item comes in a plactic box and a catalogue. Very pleased.

The cubes are well made and useful when teaching density and volume. The container itself is a little flimsy around the latches and hinges since it's a thin plastic. The density of the cubes is within the margin of error for the material. The manual that comes with it seems to be a photo copy of a much older manual.

Very cool density set. All of my cubes were in good shape. I have no complaints and it's hard to extol any particular virtues here, since it is what it is—a collection of 1 in. cubes of different materials. The spec sheet it came with was interesting, and the whole thing will make a good educational piece.

Terrible. Cheap plastic case. The sizes are not the same. Metal cuts are off. Would not buy again. Cubes have no label on them. Usually cubes would have a periodic number etched into them. These have none.

I bought this set to do density experiments in my chemistry class. The large size of the cubes made it easy for the kids to use, there was a great variety, and I even found a lab online that meshed perfectly with the kit. I am very pleased with it.

The picture shows a very nice wooden case, but was delivered in a very thin blue plastic container without the nice inside cushioning and stickers that were misaligned. I get the main reason was the contents inside but at least show a proper picture that depicts what will be delivered or call-out in the description. I may post pictures later as this is a gift and am a little disappointed.

La verdad que están muy bien de tamaño para los alumnos. Esto me ayudará a que aprendan distintas formas de determinar densidades. La entrega si que ha sido un desastre no llaman ni avisan con lo que al final hay que ir a correos.

Most are ok. But the rose wood was just painted new growth pine… I get it’s expensive but I mean really?
