What percentage to you recommend to use this at? is it aldo suitable in preserving diy’s like flaxeed gel etc?

Preservative Eco is used at up to 1% unless the product it is added to includes herbal decoctions in which case it is necessary to use 1.1% as herbal decoctions make a product more difficult to fully preserve. It can be used to preserve homemade gels like Flaxseed gel but we suggest using the preservative at 1.1% just to be sure the gel is fully preserved.

What is the shelf life of this product?

The current batch has a best before date of 30/03/2022. However, if used in your formulation before it has passed it's best before date, it will preserve your finished product for 12-18 months.
