The description reads almost like that you'd see for creatine, but it's essentially arginine. While you can get arginine from foods (meat), you can supplement it as well. I've personally found that this makes a good way to get arginine in right before a workout without hitting the gym with a belly full of food. I think taking this along with your creatine and protein just prior gives the more suited results for me. The value is really the only part I have an issue with. 90 capsule for the asking price at first seems "average" but when you realize that you take 3 capsules per serving, it becomes a problem. They need to make this a better value before I buy it, but the product itself is still good; hence my 4 stars. Now I do have to inform you that the bottle comes sans the tags you see in the description. The "Made in USA" and "Easy to Digest" tags do not come even though it's displayed. I know for most of you that won't matter and realize it's just a marketing move. But just in case some of you are really picky.....
