Stands the test of time
We bought this ball four years ago. When we first received it, there was much grumbling that it was “too big” and “too hard” (not by me, the purchaser) to be enjoyed by our Willow. This ball is AMAZING. It has withstood daily wear and tear and is Willow’s favorite thing in the world. Money well spent

Great fun for the dog
I bought this ball for my energetic corgi. Daisy loves pushing and chasing the ball up and down the hills at the dog park. She even gets to pick it up & carry it even though the ball is almost as big as she is. It's a heavy duty ball and will last a long time. We've left it outside all winter here in the Midwest and it's still strong.

High Quality Dog Ball
We just received this ball today, and immediately took it out to the yard to see how our puppers would like it. All the way headed out, she was going crazy trying to take the ball from us - she LOVES her toys. Our dog and past balls: We have an 80 lb plab (pit lab mix), and she loves all toys, but has a bad habit of puncturing normal balls. The only other type we've had work for her are the solid kong balls, but they're far too hard for indoor play or bouncing in a crowded area (our cars are parked right by the back yard). What we wanted: We were looking for something like a small kids kickball, that we could kick around and bounce around but that she could still pick up with her mouth. Product Specifics: Size: This 6 inch is a little larger than what we were looking for. We spent about 30 minutes laughing hysterically as she pushed the ball around with her mouth open, trying to figure out how to pick it up. She eventually did, but it's not easy. Durability: The ball is made of a hard material, about 1/4 inch thick. There is a hole in the ball, which shows a hollow interior. It seems like it will hold up well as long as we don't leave her alone with it for long periods, as with unattended access she would quickly use the hole to tear it open. Bounce: The ball doesn't have much bounce, a purposeful bounce will bring it to about waist height. However, it bounces well off objects, and doesn't fly off crazily like the solid kong balls. Smell: The entire box had a blueberry smell, which was pleasant. It immediately got her attention. We'll see how well it lasts, but it seems to be baked in with the plastic, as opposed to being added after the fact, which is a good sign. Color: The ball is a bright light blue, which is good for dogs. Due to the spectrum of colors dogs see, red balls tend to blend in with the grass, as reds and yellows are seen in the same range as green. This being a blue, it stands out easily for her, which is what we wanted. Conclusion: This ball is amazing, even if it is bigger than we wanted originally. We're going to be buying one of the smaller ones, but I'm sure this will stay a favorite.

Nice toy for outside
My dog absolutely loves this ball. We play with it in the snow outside. It's heavy enough that it takes a beating..and still stays nice. We'll see how long before he pops it..

Best durable ball for heavy chewers
I recently purchased the Jolly Ball dog toy for my Dalmatian, a heavy chewer who loves playing with balls. The toy is made of high-quality, durable materials designed to withstand even the most brutal play sessions. The bright red ball catches the eye, making it easy to spot in the yard or at the park. The Jolly Ball dog toy is affordable, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it performed. In the past, my dog has been able to shred other balls designed for horses, like footballs, basketballs, and baseballs, in just a few minutes. But this ball held up exceptionally well, even after hours of play. While my Dalmatian could squish the ball down and leave a few teeth marks on it, he could not shred it completely. The ball is designed to be tough and durable, making it perfect for heavy chewers like my dog. Additionally, the ball is designed to bounce unpredictably, making playtime even more exciting for my furry friend. The Jolly Ball dog toy is excellent for indoor and outdoor play, and my dog loves playing with it in both settings. Its size and weight make it easy for my dog to carry around, which is another plus. I'm thrilled with my purchase, and I highly recommend it to other pet owners with heavy chewers.

Good for super chewers!
My dog is a super, SUPER, chewer. At first I thought this ball didn't stand a chance. To my utter surprise, its still standing after about a month of constant play/tug/chewing. She certainly semi-punctures it with her sharp puppy teeth and has yet to actually puncture it or make any holes. 10/10 recommend.

probably a great toy but didn't work out for me
I bought this toy because my dog is addicted to balls. He just wants to play with soccer balls like all the other boys (he doesn't know he's different). I wanted to get him a big ball to roll around not some dinky tennis ball. And after some ruined soccer balls, I wanted to find him something that is meant for dogs. I got this and the Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff Cosmos Dog Toy, Luna . I was very excited about both! He was too! He really loves both of them, and I think he would feel sorry about the jolly pets ball's bad review if he could. There were 2 big problems with it. The bigger problem is that the ball did get stuck in his mouth. It was only a minute, but a scary minute. You see your dog is in anguish, stressed, helpless. To be fair, I don't have a very large dog! This ball might be totally appropriate for a larger breed (I have a slightly smallish australian shepherd). After that I wasn't so keen on letting him play with the ball, so it was just sitting around. And some point the shape of the ball warped (I'm not sure how, but this could be my fault) making it danger free to my dog. However, along with being danger free, he was then able to destroy it. There is now a very big hole in the ball. The moment the ball starts to get destroyed (little hole) it becomes pretty flimsy. I still play toss with it. I use the hole to pick it up from. He still really loves it! But I know it's not going to last much longer. The orbee luna ball however is perfect for him and used daily by him and all the other dogs at the dog park. So, I think I would recommend this ball, but for a bigger dog who likes toss without destroying!

Pup Loved it... just wish it was a little tougher
The pup absolutely loved this and it lasted a few days, which is impressive considering she usually shreds toys in hours. If you made one that didn't have raised letters, it would probably have lasted indefinitely, because one of the letters was what she got her tooth into and eventually where she ripped it... and subsequent chewing turned it into a weird looking vase. Overall, good quality, but still doesn't hold up to an extreme chewer.
