There are 8-piece weight tuning set (2.4g x 8) which can help you to set and get used to the perfect mouse weight while using. Take some out if you think the mouse is too heavy to use.

Can the dpi buttons be remapped? i've always had those buttons mapped to move forward or back a page, or other settings in game.

NO! And I bought the wrong mouse due to this. This question is for the m908 and this listing is the M913. You cannot remap the DPI buttons on the M913. Seems dumb because on older iterations you can. I even contacted customer support.

Does this mouse have on-board memory, so that I can plug it in to a different computer without the driver installed and still have the settings saved?

I can confirm the M908 DOES have on board memory. Also its not just easy quick keys (copy, paist, cut etc) it can record full macros!! i use this at work to do scripting and sutomate tasks. I cant have any custom software so i program it on my personal laptop and plug the mouse into the work PC.... VERY VERY VERRRRY WORTH IT!!!
