We live in Tx where it is already super humid and one of our bathrooms does not have a fan. When showering it needs a way to remove the humidity to help prevent mold and this was our answer. I purchased a digital temperature gauge that also had humidity on it to see how well it works. This works great! I removed the gauge and put it in another room because we know this is doing its job. This is in a fairly large master bath and helps decrease the humidity to a proper level within a few hours. It is small and can be moved or placed in a more conspicuous place. You could easily move it around if necessary. It is quiet and I don't even notice it when it is running. I'm always amazed at how much water is pulled into the device after it has run, but we don't have to empty it that often. Does the job, would recommend!

I received this three weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. We’ve had problems with humidity on our boat and I don’t like the excessive plastic and expense of Damp-Rid, so these small dehumidifiers caught my eye. I read through a lot of reviews, and this one seemed the best in terms of sound (it’s practically silent), water capacity (much larger than the competing models I considered), and heat output (none whatsoever, so this little beauty doesn’t compete with the A/C). I purchased the protection plan just in case, but I couldn’t be happier with the product. It’s small, about the size of a smaller bathroom wastebasket. It’s sleek and sharp yet unobtrusive, with just a small blue light bar—no flashing color show. Best of all, it works beautifully. Our interior area is about 140sf and moisture removed from the air in a week’s time far exceeds that of two DampRid 14-oz. hanging bags. I plan to buy another, as I’m using DampRid in a finished basement and last week opened a new bag only to discover the following day that it was defective and leaking on a nice rug. When I wiped it up the water collected was gross and oily, so not only is there a lot of plastic waste with DampRid, but the moisture collected seems like a pollutant. Thankfully, I found a solution in this COSVII unit. Highly recommended for smaller spaces!

This dehumidifier has helped me so much! My apartment is very humid because my roommate has a bunch of tropical house plants, and the moisture condenses on the exterior walls in the winter time because of the temperature difference. The walls are textured too and I had big problems with mold growing behind furniture. I put this dehumidifier in my room and sometimes it filled nearly half way full in just one day. It is quite quiet and I can sleep with it on without much issue. The blue light that is constantly on is a bit bothersome at night, but I just cover it up. The auto shut off is very helpful so I can leave it run during the day and not worry about it. Great purchase, and good bang for your buck.

I bought the COSVII specifically for help in controlling winter humidity/condensation in an RV. It is a good unit for this purpose. The community area of my RV is a little over half the total space of the RV and has lots of big window space which creates a major condensation problem during the winter months. Dehumidifying is the best defense. The COSVII is small, quite and uses very little AC electricity which is great since space and efficiency in an RV are at a premium. The lid on the tank is removable so the tank is easy to clean unlike some of the small dehumidifiers with tanks that have glued on lids with a rubber stopper drain plug. It also has a higher removal rate than these smaller units

Living in a tropical area surrounded by trees, nature, peace and quiet may sound nice, but it also means you can't have nice leather (and other materials) items because of the one downfall of this type of environment: humidity! For years now I'd been keeping Damp Rid and similar companies in business, spending more than I'd like to admit in disposable solutions that didn't really help as much as I expected. I'd also considered getting a large capacity dehumidifier, but couldn't find one I was convinced by until I decided to give the COSVII dehumidifier a try. I can't stress enough how GOOD of a real solution this has been; this is actually my SECOND dehumidifier as I bought the first one to try it and just had to get a second one. I put these in my closets and from day 1 you could tell the difference: the moldy smell is gone and even mold itself has disappeared, not only did it stop growing, but the existing one vanished! The 2L tanks fill up in approximately 3 days which is when I dispose collected water and place the empty tanks back in; some days I choose to turn on the ACs after the 3-day use to give the dehumidifiers a rest, but they definitely have made a difference and I highly recommend it specifically for small spaces such as closets.

This dehumidifier is performing beyond my expectations. It instantly starts to work as soon as you turn it on. I could tell a major difference within just a couple minutes. All the humidity was eliminated quickly making our home much more comfortable. It is super quiet you do not hear it running at all. With it's compact size and shape it tucks in the anywhere perfectly. It's tiny yet powerful. This thing works, the minute I saw the tray filling up with water I was so pleased. :-) We use this primarily in the basement where the house always seemed so much colder due to the dampness and we didn't want to let the kids hang out down there too much as result. Now, everything feels so much dryer and more comfortable, we can do our workouts without feeling that chill and dampness and the kids are happier as well. I couldn't be happier with this unit!

Ordered this after reading glowing reviews at Amazon. Had just sent back a COSVII dehumidifier that didn't do crap. This was twice the price and I thought it would be an uupgrade. The only upgrade I can see is the water tank is bigger. Also, it didn't arrive filthy like the COSVII dehumidifier did. This one doesn't do crap either. After several days with it, it maybe gathered 8 ounces of water, Not as advertised, and seriously I don't understand all the reviews saying how great it works. I live in Memphis, TN and it is very humid here. In the hot summer it is so humid it is a labor to eveb breathe. My bathroom barometer measured 60 to 65 humidity percentage. After running all night in a room with water on the bathtub floor and sides of the sink.... almost nada and the wet pools were still there. OVERRATED. Don't buy the COSVII dehumidifier or this one. You get the same lack of dehumidifying the air. Put in the kitchen after opening the dishwasher to let out the steam and air dry the dishes. Guess what? This piece of s*(&^% hardly did anything in a very small kitchen that had been steamed by the wet dishwasher and dishes. Pitiful. It finally started working in the humid summer of Memphis.

I have a small home office in a detached building in my backyard. I used to work from home and used it daily, typically with the AC running. I no longer use the office for work and mostly now use it for storage and a guest room. However, without the AC running frequently, it gets way too humid in there. (I live in FL). I didn't have very big expectations for this unit, but it was small and had good reviews so I gave it a shot. Wow! This thing has just been a workhorse. It is reasonably quiet, really easy to drain, and has hade a noticeable difference in the office! Only negative I have is that since this is pulling so much water out of my air, I am now considering upgrading to a unit that has an automatic drain so that I don't worry about draining it again. This was a great purchase.

Delivered very quickly, this little unit works well. Getting up to a liter of moisture from the air is impressive for this type of dehumidifier (non-compressor), and the two-liter tank is fairly good. Much better than my two other small dehumidifiers, which work very well but only each pull .5 liter of moisture from the air and have 1.5 liter tanks. A nice little upgrade here, which is also much quieter than the other two while taking only marginally more power (48 watts vs 40 watts).

I have been using this dehumidifier for a couple of months now. I like the low noise level and the low-ish energy consumption, but it’s not terribly effective in drawing moisture out of the air. Maybe I was expecting too much?

We purchased this unit for our basement cold room (20ft x 4ft - with standard height ceiling). It has been running non-stop, without issue, for a few weeks. It is able to keep the humidity around 45%. It's easy to see at a glance how full the water is and easy to empty the water chamber (auto shuts off when chamber is removed). A quiet little unit, I'm very happy with.
