Rubies Star Wars Classic Child's Hooded Jedi Robe, Large

I wanted my 2.5 yo twins to be Hobbits for Halloween, but couldn't find a costume small enough for them online. I don't sew, but using some embroidery floss I was able to shorten some old cotton brown pants, find some cream-colored shirts used, and I made bright vests with fun wooden buttons out of felt squares at the fabric store. I wasn't up to making a cloak, so I bought 2 of these instead. I severely hemmed the length and just tucked the sleeves in so they didn't show. For the piece d'resistance, I made leaves out of green felt, and sewed them to one side of the neckline of this cloak. On the other side I attached a snap. A lot of work for someone who only sews by hand, but they turned out GREAT!

I knew ahead of time that it was just the robe, and don't understand why they use the picture that shows the entire outfit.....HOWEVER, if you know it's only the robe, and you get it for a good price, it's awesome! It's very cute, and since my lil guy already has a light saber, he just put on dark clothes underneath, put the robe on, and carried his light saber. It is just polyester, but you know nothing kills that stuff, it'll outlast all of us. My son usually wears a Medium (10-12) but I got the Large (12-14) and I'm really glad I did, since you want it to be kind of billowy, and it's for wearing over top of other clothes.

Bought this for my 11 year old son's Halloween costume. He is going as Anakin Skywalker. The robe itself is nice and fits him fine. Material is thin but not in a bad way. It does not look cheap or anything like that. But, the ribbon area that is supposed to tie around his neck is torn up. It has sleeves and he'll be wearing it with his arms in the sleeves so the ribbon part is not that important. He doesn't have to tie it. It looks like there was a ribbon on it but it got torn off. There are threads hanging there now. Also, the package had the wrong cardboard insert in it. That is not important but it might be good to know that in case you open it and think the wrong one was sent. The cardboard had the younger boy on it wearing a cape that did not have sleeves. But, the cape we ordered with the sleeves and for an older boy was what was inside. It was new. Not sure why the cardboard had the wrong cape on it. It lost one star because of the ribbon issue.

I first ordered the Obi Wan Konobi costume for my four year old son, which he loved. When this robe arrived it was the icing on the cake. For a child who loves super heros, a robe/cape is a must. No the quality isn't great, but for a young childs toy or halloween costume, it fits the bill. It is not even halloween yet and my son has already worn this costume several times. I think this costume line runs a little large, my son is avarage weight and a bit above avarage height for a four year old and this robe (small size) was too long. I cut about two inches off the bottom to make sure he doesn't trip or get tangled in this and it still skims the floor. Overall I am very pleased with this item and my son even more so.

I didn't receive the item yet, however I ordered it because I am going to be a Jedi for Halloween. I am a 5'2", 25 year old female. I figured it will fit me since the description says it fits 45-60 inches, and customer reviews say the item runs BIG. (I purchased a large.) And robes for adults are WAY more expensive! I see most of you are upset because it is only the cape and not the costume as well... The item description says CAPE. Unless, it was recently changed. For the cheap price you can't expect much! Also, for $10.00... This is a great addition to my homemade jedi costume. As far as no neck tie. That is easily something you could make with supplies from your local craft store. Sew 2 small pieces of fabric on, and some sort of latch (like on a bra). Velro maybe. Also, something to the effect of shoelaces to tie and make a bow... (Just some ideas) I'll give it a whirl and let you all know what works best when I receive the cape. But honestly, if you purchased it for the reasons I did, it really is a great buy. And it's cheap. Especially for use of just ONE DAY! Like I said, I did not receive it yet and will give my honest opinion when it comes. Just trying to give the SILVER LINING, not take away from the real complaints. Every situation is different.

This is an add on to the original costume. It was seperate but completes the costume. My 7yrs son looks awesome in this costume. It fits him well. Just as pictured. I have 3 Boys and bought them their own Star Wars costume with different characters after watching the latest Star Wars film. They love dressing up and duking it out. At a time when children are into tablets and video games I try anyway to get my boys to just play and have fun as I did when I was a child. Star Wars would do that to you!

This jedi robe is perfect for my 4, almost 5 year old daughter. She is thrilled to wear it with her Luke Skywalker costume for Halloween. The material is thin, like most costumes you buy, but the price was right, and she loves it. It has held up through one Halloween adventure thus far, and it should make dress up and play time fun until she outgrows it. May the force be with all the other young jedis who need padawan robes. ;)

Was a good inexpensive purchase that added to my son's Star Wars collection. He LOVES it. Uses is along with his lightsabers and all his Lego Star Wars to reinact scenes. I'm satisfied with the quality of the product. Slightly better than what I expected out of a costume grade garment and has withstood LOTS of active play and the washing machine/dryer, although I did use the gentle cycle to be safe.

Ich habe dieses Kostüm für meinen Sohn (6) in der Größe 5-7 Jahre gekauft. Es passt perfekt, allerdings ist die Verarbeitung nicht besonders gut. Überall schauen Fäden raus und es sieht aus als würden sich einige Nähte bald wieder auflösen. Der Preis ist auch recht teuer, dafür das man nur einen Umhang bekommt. Ich habe aber nichts qualitativ besseres finden können...

Molto carino e tessuto adeguato per l'utilizzo limitato; unico appunto è la mancanza del laccetto al cappuccio, che in foto è presente, che con un minimo sforzo poteva anche essere cucito già in fabbrica.

Calidad.....muy baja (rasete baratisimo) y la confección de pena, ni un dobladillo. Creo que por el precio que tiene, por lo menos tendría que estar confeccionada.
