I have used this brand the last two changes and they do pretty well. As with many products once you change the original the replacement doesn't seem to perform as well and the same is true with this wick. All wicks are difficult to get in the exact same place as the original if a little higher they smoke to low they don't burn right and with the tight fit it's easy to rack it out of perfect when reassembly takes place. Starters, rotors, brakes, pressure washer packings, airless paint sprayer packings in fact no packing last as long as the original. In fact there are very few replacement parts that seem to do as well as the original that's part of the reason OEM parts cost more than aftermarket parts. Good Luck

Proper long lasting wick for my old heaters. Perfect fit, no need for constant rimming.

The fiberglass top portion is nice and even. I've bought other brands that were not trimmed evenly.

This wick replaced an old kerosene heater wick that had gotten wet (and rusted shut to the heater). Once we got it free, then replaced with this unit, the heater is now working great and saved from landing in the landfill.

I purchased a square heater from kero-world and the wick that was installed worked fine, but this replacement was hard to install and smoked very bad. I tried several wicks and had the same results. I was told to purchase a larger round heater that takes wicks with pins and had no problems. I dont know why these wicks would not work???
