Felt I was attending an Ancient Ethiopian Church
Four stars because the printing is separated horizontally in some parts (because of age?), but did not keep me from enjoying this brilliant piece of ancient literature...

It is a liturgical book in its essence, however ...
It is a liturgical book in its essence, however, I expected a bit more from it. It only gives examples of prayer and song between the clergy and congregation. I assumed that I would be able to learn more about the ethiopian tawahedo church, i.e its origin and customs. It is practically a prayerbook/hymnal.

Especially for those born in the diaspora
First of all, thank you to the authors of this book. This book is ideal for getting an independent introduction to the liturgy if you first wanna understand and read it on your own. I would say it is suitable for the beginning level of liturgy. After that it is easier to ask the right questions in your local eritrean/ethiopian orthodox tewahedo church.
