This is the best weed eater string I’ve ever bought. I’ve put it in my weed eater once and still haven’t run out because it doesn’t break. I have five acres and do a lot of grass and this is my absolute new favorite.

This line performs well, it is durable and cuts through heavy stemmed overgrowth well. My only complaint is that it comes off the roll curled which robs it of a bit of its effectiveness. My efforts to relax the curl have been unsuccessful probably due to the sturdy nature of the material

Definitely superior for cutting through thick growth. This Weedwhacker string is thicker and heavier than most machines are designed to use. A self feeding Weedwhacker might need a little help feeding the cord out, but if you are cutting through thick weeds, this stuff really helps. I turn my Weedwhacker off, hold up the head, press down the spring and pull the cord out by hand when I need to feed more, but as long as it fits through the grommets in the head, it should work

I have two farms and use all kinds of equipment constantly -- and I really need them to work consistently and effectively. Especially my walk behind trimmer mower to take care of all the grass and brambles that grow up each year in fields and orchards. I really wanted this line to work. The concept of a great cutting line sounded very attractive, particularly if is very touch and durable. This stuff is neither. Using a standard mounting to attach this to the head results in this stuff either breaking or slipping out -- or possibly even cutting itself. Seriously. Sometimes I've only made it a few feet before I'm replace it. And this is over and over and over. The only partial success I had was putting a knot to help hold it in place, but even that improved things a little some of the time. Unfortunately this stuff is a terrible waste of time and money. Maybe the design would work on a standard grass trimmer; I don't know. But on a walk behind in anything more than soft grass it's useless. All lines wear. But this stuff doesn't even get a chance to wear... There is much better line out there and I've found one that is much more durable and effective.

very aggressive design which is great for weeds but this line breaks very easily. like more easily than much thinner name brand line.

I’ve been looking for a string that would cut a lot of brush that is on my property. I’ve used different styles and thickness but have found this one works the best. I’ve found that if you are trying to use it on your handheld string trimmers, it won’t work. This works best on a walk behind trimmer that only uses a piece of string instead of the wound up head. It works really well with brambles and small saplings.
