This is a great deal for the money, the image is bright and it works very well but there is one caveat. If you store the unit in the included vinyl case it becomes very easy to push the red on/off button without realizing it. This leads to the batteries being depleted without even knowing it. It is best to simply throw the vinyl case away and keep the box the unit comes in for storage. Or you could store the unit in the vinyl case and store both in the box. Another thing is that it is a bit tricky to get at the batteries but the included instruction sheet shows you how to do this.

The light and enhanced zoom are both game changers . I bought one out of pocket for everyone in my plant and they are much better equippped to identify defects than with a 10x loupe with no light!

This loupe works as described. The light lighted loupe. Helps me to see find details on coins, stamps, and other items.

I like the way it Magnifies the coins I like the light but I don’t like how the light comes on so easily and it’s hard to change the batteries

Shockingly durable even when thrown into a bag with geology tools and rocks! I bought this for a geology field camp that lasted for three weeks to be able to get a closer look at my specimens than with my 10x hand lens that hurts my eyes and this loupe was a life saver! It has a nice scale that you can use for measuring whatever you're looking at (in my case, grain sizes for my rocks and the sizes of small brachiopods) and the lighting options on it are wonderful! Since the lighting is all contained within the cylinder of the loupe, it doesn't get canceled out by the sunlight which makes it very useful in the field. It's very easy to take apart to clean and it's very easy to use. I'm shocked that it's as durable as it is but I'm certainly not going to complain! Within those three weeks, the only thing that fell apart was the threading on the case that it came in, which I am currently in the process of sewing back together. I would recommend this to anyone regardless of their use - jewelry, coin collectors, and obviously geologists as well. It did a wonderful job and I look forward to it's continued use with my personal collection of rocks now that I am back home. As most people have said, it can be very easy to accidentally push the button to turn it on - which I did experience a few times. Just make sure to store it in its case with the button tucked into the corner and double check to make sure it hasn't been turned on accidentally before you put it away for the day. Very pleased with this overall and I was glad to have bought it!

This broke right away, the inner lens came unglued and there was no way to fix it. Also the light stopped working after 2 months. This was only used a few times a week.

I use this to look at coins. Works great

This is a great product with the very powerful 30 X glass. I particularly liked that. It has three light settings, white ultraviolet, and clear.. A super product! Had a great price point.

Good magnification and led lights. UV is handy as well. Leather pouch quality could be better without loose threads.

This is a really nice little magnifier. It’s good quality, made from metal, and with quite nice optics. For the price it was a really pleasant surprise.
