Definitely Recommend, Easy Install, Bright Lights, & Still Working After 6 Months of Use!
LOVE these two lights!!! We had some neighborhood issues with vandalism recently and these lights work perfect to deter humans (and animals!) from coming close to the house. If you step within 10-15 ft of these motion activated, solar lights, the lights will come on and stay on for 5-10 seconds before shutting off. They are bright enough to light up enough area to deter criminals, I'm not certain of how bright they are but they are bright enough to see the ground and walk around and have plenty of light to see inside of your purse if you're looking for your house keys or to see the walk way and not trip over something. My husband was able to use some Christmas light clips that we use to hang Christmas lights on the gutters in order to attach the light(s) to the gutters around our house. We installed two within 10-15 ft of each other and they work perfectly to light up around the side of our house next to where my husband parks outside of the garage. I do plan on purchasing more of these lights because so far they've held up very well, they seem to still look great, and so far we've not had any issues what-so-ever so I'd like to buy enough of them to go all the way around our house. Our neigbors even noticed them and said they would like to get some as well. For the quality and peace of mind you just can't beat this lights and at this price point as well!

LOVE these LIGHTS!
First off I loved the packaging / packing all four in one small box! I installed 2 of these by my horse paddock and tack room. Fantastic and Bright! Even in the dim mode its feasible to see. Years ago I had used InnoGear solar lights and then we had a direct hit from Hurricane Irma and she destroyed my cottage. Well, my solar lite from Inno Gear STILL works to this day and you can see under the rubble of my beloved cottage. What a light!!!!! So, I was happy to get more of them. In between I had to use OxyLed solar lights. They are okay but not as bright as InnoGear. I am so pleased! UPDATE years later..... The above review was written a few years ago! I have just placed "another" order for more of these wonderful lights! I cannot say enough about them. I now have 16 of them around my paddock and tack room and the path leading back to my horse on my land. I take them out of the shade and set them in the sun to charge, just to make sure I have light at night when I check on my horse. I have no electricity back by my horse due to Hurricane Irma ( 2017) completely destroyed my cottage yet God saved my horse and her tack room XOXO. Thank God! So, I use solar lights for my horse area now and these INNO GEAR are always my choice !!!! I cannot say enough good things about them. I have actually just placed another order. For me? They have always worked the best. They are not a blinding light ( which I like for my horse) and yet they are motion detecting as you pass by or the animals / cats / dogs / horse. I wipe them off from time to time to get the dust off. Helps them to recharge. I have tried other brands out of curiosity and always end up wasting money and reorder my fave Inno Gear lights time after time.

Garage carriage lights alternative.
I was all set to run wire to my garage door wall to install carriage lights but then decided to have a look at solar options. While actual carriage type solar lights are available they are very limited in style and run about a hundred bucks a piece. Well nuts, for that amount I could run electrical lines myself and choose almost any light style out there. But even going with a with a self install, it's a good deal of effort and cost for materials. Enter these InnoGear 20 LED solar lights. After reading the reviews I took a chance and I must say they've worked out quite well so far. Granted they don't exactly make a style statement, unless your motif is contemporary or modern, however they are very low profile and discreet, while still providing good white light when dim and great light when they brighten on motion...such as pulling your car in the garage or walking around the driveway, or better yet, spot-lighting some unwelcome guest snooping around your garage door in the wee small hours. The motion activation has worked flawlessly so far and unlike some of the reviews, I am very pleased with the amount of light they offer. Put another way, when I look up and down our street in the evenings, the brightness of these lights match-up very well with the traditional wired outdoor lighting on surrounding homes. I can't address longevity because I've only had them a few weeks, so I can't say how well they will respond to rain or the elements, but for now these lights are hard to beat for the money. 4 stars until they been up for a while. UPDATE: Although the solar lights are still up and working, be advised that four months after installation, they now only hold a charge that last roughly 3-4 hours. So, you get working lights from early evening/sundown until around 10PM. After that, the lights only offer the dimmest illumination...like a small candle at best. Not exactly ideal for security in those wee hours I mentioned in my original review. Revising the rating down to 3 stars. UPDATE PT 2: Just a quick note to compliment the vendor for seeing my review and sending a replacement set. I will revise my review once the new set arrives in proper working order. Great customer care from InnoGear, they clearly stand behind their products! The lights are now working quite well. UPDATE 3: It's June 2023 and these lights STILL work 7 years after the original purchase!

Lasted 5 years so far 👍
It’s not often that I go find a product I purchase 5 years ago to write a review. This warrants an exception. I have a very large outdoor space with different levels and purpose. There are potted plants, yard art and features throughout that I needed solar lighting for. Over the past five years I have probably purchase over 40 solar products for my favorite space. From string lighting to stairs lights to art spotlights to task lighting to, well you name it. Of all of those many purchases (sans this years - still to be determined), this is the only one that has survived. They perform just as good as day one. And from experience I can say that vertuly all solar powered, well anything, starts going downhill from day one. No exceptions but this product. I needed something that would add ambient lighting in general and task lighting for steps and stairs when called upon. And boy have these guys delivered. The ambient lighting, motion sensors and task lighting are still the same as the day they were installed. As I said, I buy a lot of outdoor solar lights. The way I view it is they have a 2 year shelf life. The crap ones don’t survive the season, most will go 2 years but you see decline at the end of the second. If your lucky, you get three years out of them. I go into buying products with that in mind. Two solid years is the hope. A third year is a bonus. And I base if it is worth the money based on that theory. But this product breaks the mold. Five years and it performs just like day one. And the price is a steal for a two year life! So for five years life it’s highway robbery!

Excellent lights at just $13 each! Review UPDATED two years later.
I'm a cheap bastard! I want good stuff, yet I don't want to pay alot for it. These lights fill that bill. They stay on all night long in dim mode, and pop to bright mode the moment anyone gets near them. The dim mode is good enough to see anything under them, and the bright mode is plenty bright ... even to do some garden work or clean up or whatever at night. (Two sample photos taken in bright mode.) They are easy to install, just two screws into the wall and you slide them on. And... so far ... they will stay on all night with about 6 to 8 hours sunlight to charge them here in late October. At $26 for a pair, you can't find anything comparable for two LED solar powered lights of this quality. They seem well built and solid. They are NOT made of cheap plasic. They feel like a hard composite resin plastic of some kind. Like the stuff bowling balls or motorcycle helmets are made of. They feel solid in your hands when you hold them ... like a high quality electronic item. They had no problem with a moderately strong rain/wind storm we had last week. I'm sold, I will probably buy a couple more for the other side of the house. If they last a couple of years, they will be MORE than worth the $13 each I paid for them. I mean, seriously, you can't find a high quality solar light like this for that price anywhere. I've tried! Update 2 years and 2 months later... Well, like I said, if they last 2 years, I'd be happy. They still work, but the motion sensor seems to trip ON and OFF all the time now. I've tried cleaning the outside parts. Gonna try taking them apart to see if they are dirty inside ... and/or might see if a new battery would help. Seems a pity to toss them if I can't fix them. They still are as bright as ever ... but since they pop on to bright and dim all night long ... the battery runs out and they go SUPER dim fairly soon. I hope I can fix them, but it not, I guess they met my two year requirement.

To infinity and beyond
This coming July will be 8 years since I purchased these lights. They don’t get as bright as they used to, but the still stay dim all night and get brighter when you walk by. The apocalypse will come and these will still be running. Fantastic purchase.

Come on guys…what were you thinking?
I bought a few additional items to replace the ones that had worn out after a number of years of good use. I was disappointed to find that the the new items have a different spacing for the mounting screws, so I am unable to just remove the old lights and put these in their place. I have to drill two new screws for these to get mounted, what the heck were you guys thinking. My original review is way down below, but I'm upping my rating to five stars for a couple of reasons: 1. It's a great product that does its job well. It has a large rechargeable battery...not a AA NiCad like most solar lights, but something wider and longer. While most of my solar lights are long exhausted within a few hours of darkness, these last a lot longer. (I noticed that a few of them were still working when I left for work this morning.) 2. Their customer service exceeded my expectations. I had a unit die a few days out of their one-year warranty. I contacted them via their website and they replied the next day and are sending a replacement unit for me. After some bad dealings with some other manufacturers, I was prepped for a fight, and they denied me that. (I'll get over it.) I'm glad I bought these. =========================================== I bought a number of these and am quite pleased with them, for the most part. One of the units has developed a problem in that it doesn't turn off during daylight. The battery continues to charge, but the LEDs are constantly on, which results in a drained battery a few minutes after dusk. I finally pulled it from my back shed today and have contacted Innogear for a replacement. I bought these last March, but didn't take them out of the box until last July. I'm 10 days beyond the official 1-year warranty period, but considering that they were in use less than 9 months, I'm hopeful that Innogear will do the right thing and give me a replacement. 3 stars for now for selling a faulty item. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Great Lights, bright and good quality
Have been using these lights and brand for a decade now, they work great. Out here in the deserts of the southwest nothing lasts forever so I do need to replace them every 4 or 5 years.

These should not be listed as gutter lights - Don't waste your money
My original review is below. Please don't waste your money. They look good in the box but are totally useless for lighting up an area. I have had them up for a week now. On North facing wall. Full sun charging. The amount of charge is not the issue as they do glow all night. Please note, I use the word 'glow' generously. The dim setting is so dim I can't take a photo of it as my phone"s flash engages no matter how close I get. The motion detection brightness is enough to see, but it lasts for less than a count of 15, so aprox 10 seconds. I wanted to send them back as they are not fit for purpose but my partner mistakenly threw out the box I was saving. Expensive lesson learned. So disappointing as they are much more expensive that other solar lights on offer on Amazon. Hopefully my experience can save you some money. The product arrived quickly and was packaged very well. Each individual light in the pack 4 was wrapped and there were ample instructions included. The lights themselves look and feel like good quality. I have charged one up and its works perfectly, the standard lighting mode is quite dim so don't expect it to be a usable for much of an area, However the 'motion detected' mode is bright and does the job well. I wish there was an option to keep it in that mode. They are IP65 water resistant which is the minimum you need for an outdoor light. There is so much to like about these light except the mounting method. Two screws that the light slips onto via the keyhole cutouts on the back. It's like hanging the Mona Lisa off a thumb tack. Plus there is just no way that mounting system will work on a gutter. At the very least you would have to drill two holes through the gutter, place two small bolts through (the heads of which will fit into the keyhole cutouts), position the light, then attach either a nut or wing nut at the back to secure against the gutter. not some thing that any of us want to do at the risk of rusting out our gutters.. Sure you can mount them under the gutter but that will impede the solar charging. Even mounting them on my fence has me searching my shed for something I can make up to mount more securely. So far I have come up with nothing. Other cheap gutter lights have a clamp type mounting included, but these quality lights do not. Very disappointing. I love the lights but think I will have to return them as I genuinely can't see how they will mount where I need them. So I did not want to give up these and managed to dummy up a mounting system that works really well for me. I used the magnet base from some mini magnetic hooks I purchased on Amazon not long ago, replaced the hook with a round head bolt and used a rubber spacer I had lying around to keep it all tight and steady. Now I can mount them wherever I like on the gutters or patio facia and even move them when needed. I have a couple mounted on steel garden screens at the moment to see how they go when charged up fully. I am hoping the dim setting ends up being brighter than what I have experienced so far. if it is my stars will go up. if not definitely down
