Several years ago, I had my gallbladder removed and bile duct surgery. The doctors placed me on Omeprazole. I stayed on it for years, not realizing that it was not a long-term medication. About three years ago, I stopped the Omeprazole and switched to Grass-Fed Ox Bile Extract 1000mg Bile Salts Supplements with Black Pepper by Eleva (two in the morning. (This is the best brand I found.)) And when I ate something that increased the heartburn, such as something really spicy or with high sugar, I would take some baking soda in water. Which really helped, but was inconvenient, especially when I was away from home. I decided I wanted something in pill form and found these. To be completely honest, the reason I purchased these as opposed to a different option, was the price point and the number of tablets. When the heartburn starts, I take two of these tablets with a glass of water. I have noticed that they don't act as fast as the baking soda and water, but it seems to work better. Also, I have noticed, that since I have started taking these, the heartburn spikes aren't as bad; they are much milder that before and the frequency has evened out.

This is Used for my son‘s kidneys to function properly born without filters. This provides the filters, even though it is also for Gerd. However, it does work for kidney rare type disease. I’ve been buying on Amazon three bottles at a time he goes through nine bottles in a year and my insurance company did not cover it so I buy it here and it’s half the price of what my insurance company was charging me for a co-pay.
