Purchased this LEGO set for my teenage Son. I'm helping him out build a small collection of engineering-related pieces. Beautiful sets all of them, complex, educational, and satisfying to build and own. But - boy - they're getting too expensive, and sadly it's getting hard to justify the cost. So regretfully this may be last one we buy, at least for some time. Highly recommended though...

This is the second set I bought. I previously bought the Caterpillar D11 dozer set from Lego. I enjoyed building that so much that I just had to buy the Volvo articulated truck! My wife and I built it together and really spent some quality time enjoying the activity. It really helps develop mechanical understanding of machinery at a much younger age! I really liked the intricacies of the drive train and power systems. Very well made!!

Purchased and assembled the truck without much issue. Everything looks and works fine except the the angular motor that controls the steering of the truck. Upon connecting with control app, the motor steers the direction to left and stuck there. It does not seem to respond to further steering inputs. The direction can be changed by hand with twisting motion between truck cab and body, so I don’t think the assembly is the issue. I have sent a service request to Lego for resolution of the issue. The issue is fixed after firmware update and a follow-on recalibration, suggested by Lego customer support. Good toy and excellent support. Change to 5 stars.

It was a fun build and looks cool with my other construction themed Legos. The first set I received, the box was so damaged that I was concerned parts were missing. Amazon sent me a replacement and it was a little better. Amazon should put it inside another box. I like to keep the boxes and sometimes it's a gift.

Really liked the build overall and it's a great addition to the Liebert excavator. Another well designed kit from Lego. The motorized selectable gearbox is so damn cool. However the box showed up super damaged had extra parts taped to the side of it. I received an extra motor and control kit and an extra set of the bag 4 parts. Pretty strange but hey I'm not complaining, I can use those parts for other projects.

Nice truck, fun to build and operate off your phone app. Weak in the hinge / swivel area, be prepared to modify.

I wish I had gotten word of this set before it sold out from Lego directly. Great set - very intricate like the CAT bulldozer set. The scalping of these sets and being sold for 20-25% above market is getting ridiculous.

This was one of the bigger lego sets. Has app control bluetooth motors to go forward, back, right and dump the truck. Very sturdy when done. You can pick it up without fear that anything will fall off. Nice engineering of gear sand motors. Nice addition to Liebherr R800 Excavator.

Another great model by Lego Technic. The build was challenging due to the six wheel drive system and the gearbox that drives it in such a small area.

Jajaja mi esposa dice que somos tres niños jugando con legos, pues ya armamos también otros set's, lo obtuve en una promoción de Amazon me costó muy barato y a msi. Llegó en perfectas condiciones y menor tiempo de la fecha acordada.
