Easy and practical. We bought it for my daughter’s 9th birthday party. The children helped with mixing the dye powder with water, they quite enjoyed the responsibility and measuring. There are 2 little funnels in the box of 18 colours set, so it makes it easier to pour the powder into the bottles.We dyed 7 tshirts and have some dye left for future diy, so I would say the quantity would be enough for 10 Tshirts. They came out pretty nice and colourful, with vibrant colours at first. We have washed it only once, not sure how much more it will fade in the future but so far I would say it is good quality and worth the money.

This is so much fun! I bought to create tshirts for our family of 4 for Gala day. After creating 4 tshirts, 2 large ones and all completely soaking in paint we still have enough for another batch of tie dye tshirts. Great quality and easy to clean (do cover your space though!) The size of the bottles is great and the colours are vibrant and catchy. Functionality of this product is amazing as it can be used on any fabrics, cushion covers, ties, t-shirts, bags, backpacks, hat anything you want! Great family fun and easy to use! I did it with a 9 year old and a 5 year old and they did amazing job! Everything you need is included, gloves, elastic bands etc. use half the measures for powder and you will end up having left overs for another time. You don't need to use all of the colours either, we did, but you can pick and choose. Great fun!

This was really fun and easy. Great for kids not too messy

For the price I was definitely surprised by the strength of the resulting colours.The kit has dye in sachets which need to be put in the correct bottle (they're labelled) and mixed with water. Make sure both the nozzle and cap are tightly shut before shaking to mix!!Fixative is in the dye powder so no extra chemicals are needed. There's a decent number of strong elastic bands, gloves and a table cover. The instruction leaflet is in several languages so only two pages per language, but it has enough info to get you started.I used supermarket kid's tees to practice on and prewashed before dyeing. It says to put the dyed piece in a polybag, but I didn't have any large enough and found it easier to work on cling film and wrap each piece as I went, which helped minimise dye transfer and they could all be left in a crate for the 8hrs they were curing.When rinsing, I'd recommend you hand rinse and then do a rinse cycle in a machine for thoroughness. The vibrancy faded a little but not as much as I expected.I'd definitely recommend this kit as one to experiment with before buying the really expensive dyes. If crafting with the children, I think it's best for adults to do the dye mixing. I'm not sure how long the remaining dye will be good for: I plan to use the rest within a week. The bottles can be rinsed and reused another time.I used about half the pack in dyeing 8 kids tees. I'd reckon you could dye up to 400g (dry weight) of cotton fabric from one kit

These were great fun for the kids, would buy again just because the kids really enjoyed it and loved looking/wearing their own designs.We did two adult tops XL and 2 kids tops, saturated them and still have loads of ink left so a large quantity of ink.Instructions were clear, easy enough to use and came with gloves, elastic bands etc.Surprisingly wasn't that messy and both kids did their own (ages 3 and 7). Me- a grown adult however cannot say the same, definitely made more mess.Now onto the bad side depending on what you want it for, we dyed the tops, left them 24hrs, rinsed in freezing cold water and then washed them on a 20° wash, left them to airdry. The quality of the colours changed a lot, most reds etc turned pink, all colours lightened quite a bit, with each wash they've faded dramatically, they have been washed maybe 5 times since doing them, always the same 20° wash and air dry and the colours are now barely there.I'd buy again simply for the price and kids enjoyment but if it was for something I actually wanted to spend a lot of time on doing a cool design, I'd probably not recommend.

Ho acquistato questo kit Tie Dye della Desire Deluxe per personalizzare alcune t-shirt in cotone, borse in tela e calzini, e il risultato finale ha superato le mie aspettative!Cosa contiene e come si presenta:La confezione arriva fornita di tutto il necessario per iniziare subito senza dover acquistare materiale extra. I flaconi contengono già la polvere di pigmento dosata: basta aggiungere acqua a temperatura ambiente, agitare bene per far sciogliere il colore e si è pronti all'uso. Inclusi nel set si trovano anche gli elastici per creare le varie pieghe/spirali, i guanti monouso per non macchiarsi le mani e un manualetto d'istruzioni con diverse tecniche spiegate passo passo (spirale, righe, effetto sfumato/galassia).Resa dei colori e stesura:I colori sono estremamente vivaci e ricchi. I beccucci dei flaconi permettono di applicare il pigmento con buona precisione sui vari segmenti di tessuto senza creare spruzzi incontrollati.Per ottenere la massima brillantezza, ho lasciato riposare i capi avvolti nella pellicola trasparente per circa 8-12 ore prima del primo risciacquo: i colori hanno fissato benissimo sul cotone 100% e anche dopo i primi lavaggi in lavatrice (a freddo/30°C) le tonalità sono rimaste intense e prive di sbiadimenti evidenti.Unici piccoli accorgimenti:Trattandosi di tintura permanente per tessuti, raccomando di proteggere bene il piano di lavoro con un telo di plastica ed indossare abiti vecchi durante l'uso, perché se il colore cade su superfici porose non si rimuove facilmente.In conclusione:Un set dall'eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo, perfetto sia per progetti fai-da-te tra adulti sia per un pomeriggio creativo in famiglia o una festa tra ragazzi. Consigliatissimo!
