Perfect
Updated 1 year review; original below. At one year this still looks excellent and very happy with it. Packed and stored in the original box. Minimal fluffing on the 2nd year just to redirect branches, all bulbs still working and the flock has not yellowed to any capacity and still holding firm to the tree. Still looks excellent, very elegant, thin and perfect for the small corner space. Not too overwhelming to compete with a primary tree, but not lost in a large room and a great focal point when you want to bring christmas to other spaces. Base still looks excellent as well, no cracks, chips or discoloring and brings an outdoor flare. (Note: 1st pic is 2nd year) Orig Review: I just finished my "man cave", which consisted of closing up the 800 SF attic with a Den/Office, seating area with reclining sofa, big screen TV, bathroom and a utility room for tying flies, projects and storing fishing gear. It took me about a year, and now I wanted to finish it off for the holidays with a secondary tree. Since my room is outdoors themed, I wanted to get around a 5' tree that was not the cookie cutter triangle and would not overwhelm the space. I watched the sales last year at the big box stores, and others and all I found were the cheap trees with branches that did not look natural and or just too large. As a kid, I have always been a bit psychotic about my trees, so I was tasked in grabbing the snowmachine and picking our tree every year, and it often took me days to find the perfect one. So, especially noting I never really found anything when looking directly, as you can imagine, shopping online proved scary. When I saw this, It appeared perfect, especially with the birch stand, had great reviews, and the free returns, so I took the gamble on the 4'5" tree. I am glad I did. It looks every bit as good as in the pictures, with branches/needles simulating spruce, and like the high end trees, also has the secondary filler branches (the ones many use as the primary branches) near the spine, so they are undetectable. The tree also looks natural, void of that thick canopy and telltale cut triangle shape, but not so much that it looks sparse. The base is porcelain or similar, so you must be careful, but the texture and paint of the outside is excellent in representation of a birch tree. People have commented about the top being yellow and while it is, it is also not shouting at you, though it is certainly a raised voice. Keep in mind this is supposed to be a cut birch tree round, so the "cut" portion of the tree will be a tanish yellow color and while the paint on this cut portion is nowhere near the quality of the birch surround, pulling the branches down to a proper position does mask it greatly, so aesthetically, it does not impact the tree at all and the color does represent what cut rounds look like. In fact, I do like this base, again as it fits my outdoor theme and it looks nicer than a basket, those plastic looking pots, or basic stand. No need for anything to drape over and hide it, but instead enhances this tree visually. The flock is moderate, but not too thick. It does have more uniform coverage than expected, but you still can see the green and it does look great. An advantage not considered, is it attaches to the lights and wire, so that is now perfectly hidden. BTW, I was worried about it not having enough lights, but that is not an issue and it gooks great lit up as well. Anyway, while I had to do some cleaning up of small debris, and pulls some chunks out, the flock seems well secured and it was not flaking, but instead just seemingly part of the cleanup process after manufactured. I am still worried about yellowing, but won't know that for a year, or 5. But for $89, I am more than pleased. I will add pics once Thanksgiving comes around as I still have to make some ornaments using live wood cookie slices from my property with salmon flies my late father tied years ago. Together, this will give that great outdoors look to match my Den and where I live. I am excited because I had planned to get bear and moose type ornaments, but realized I would easily be in it for $200, and in searching, I inadvertently came across an ornament someone laser etched a fly into a cookie slice and it gave me the idea to use my father's flies. I have hundreds, and they still have yet to catch a large rainbow or pike, so I will take about 20 and do it for free. (Sorry Dad, I know you would have told me "I was nuts", but wherever you are now, I think you can find the value and memories this will provide.) Anyway, I will add pics soon, but wanted to get this review up for anyone that is looking for a secondary tree that looks quite elegant and is of top notch quality. Get it now before prices go up!

Downsized and Delighted! Perfect Little Tree
I finally gave away my 7-foot Christmas tree behemoth (you know the kind—requires storage, ladders, and a mild back injury) and downsized to this beautifully flocked 3-foot tree. Best decision I made all season. Setup was quick and painless, and the flocking mostly stays put—no blizzard in the living room. The branches are nicely spaced and flexible, which means ornaments don’t disappear into an abyss. Everything is visible and actually gets admired, which is the whole point. My only nitpick—and it’s a personal one—is the number of lights. I like a little extra sparkle, so I added an additional string of 300 twinkle lights and now it’s perfect for me. (Puleo, if you’re listening, I’d happily pay extra for a “more lights” option—installed by you, not me.) If you’re short on space, tired of wrestling a full-size tree, or just want something charming and and easy to live with, this little tree delivers. Small footprint, big holiday spirit.

Love it!
Love it!!!! Looks fantastic, great quality, super easy to put together, nice lights- Update-did I say I loved this so much?! Yes. Now this was not meant to be up on a buffet cabinet, so with the cool faux tree stump that comes with it as a base, it made the tree to tall for the spot. (I had gone 8 years with no tree because my place is small, not a lot of options, so putting it up on the main focal piece of furniture was a lightbulb moment. I ordered a very simple small fake tree stand-(I think it was for fake trees?) anyway little one on Amazon to make it shorter, and it worked perfect. It was cheap, sturdy, and super simple to do. Incidentally the faux pottery tree stump it’s meant to be inserted in to, didn’t go to waste. I have a large water bottle in my kitchen that sits on a less than perfect plant stand with an electric automatic water spikit (spell?) that never quite looked right, but I used the faux stump/log as the base and it fits perfect! I’ve decided I love the way it looks so much I may keep it up all year- decorating it by season, lol! I don’t know if I’ll do that , but as of now 1/16, I will be just taking my vintage ornaments off tonight and deciding what should go on now… this is kind of a fun thing to amuse myself.

Awesome tree for a small space, but it's tall and so happy I got it.
I simply Love this tree so much. I had never had a flocked tree and it's so beautiful. Yes,a little vacuuming but it's so worth it.

Poor engineering — impossible to get the tree to stand up straight
First the acceptable: good number of branch tips, attractive flocking, relatively easy to “fluff”. Not so acceptable: stingy number of lights, many flocked so heavily that they don’t emit light. Completely unacceptable: the tree I was sent had a somewhat oversized hole in the base, so when I inserted the trunk of the tree into it, the tree wobbled and tilted. The base itself is very lightweight, and when I tried to assemble the top section to the base, the whole thing tipped over. I was planning to display my collection of fruit and vegetable ornaments on it, but since the tree was so precariously balanced, I knew I couldn’t risk doing that: many of these ornaments were purchased more than 25 years ago in Europe and would be impossible to replace. I knew that if I wanted to keep the tree, I would have to rig something up. First, I wrapped the trunk of the tree with enough electrical tape to increase its diameter and make it a tight fit in the hole of the base. This seemed to work: the tree was straight and less wobbly, but when I added the upper part of the tree to the assembly, the weight of it pushed the taped part of the trunk far enough into the hole on the base that it was beyond the stricture of the base, resulting in an even more wobbly tree, and because of the tape, I couldn’t pull the lower tree segment out of the hole. Next, I bought a can of that expanding foam used for insulation. That just looks messy, and I doubt that it’s strong enough to do the job, but we shall see when it dries. I built up several coats of the stuff around the base of the tree, but I think I might be able to camouflage it by fluffing some more. What I’d really like to do is pitch the whole thing, but I hate to think of a Christmas without my favorite collection on display. I have nearly 180 of these ornaments, and the food tree has been part of our family holiday for more than 30 years. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product.p, and couldn’t recommend it to anyone!

Pretty tree, but be prepared!
This is a beautiful tree. It arrived in good time. Only a tiny amount of flocking dust dropped during unpacking and set up. The problem I had was that three of the branches were not secured into place. That has never happened to me before with an artificial tree. I decided to try to make the repair myself. I had some nuts and bolts I used. I touched them up with some dabs of white paint after I had them in place. I could have repackaged the tree and returned or exchanged it. But I already had it pretty much fully assembled and fluffed out. It would have been too much time and trouble. As I had already reserved time from my schedule to put the tree up. The base is solid with only a hole in the top to place the tree. The top of the base should have been painted white or gray but instead it's an odd shade of yellow. I pulled the lower branches down to cover it up. I am going to get some of that white cotton-like batting, the fake snow sheets, to tuck in under the bottom layer of branches to cover all traces of that yellow. I could have painted that white as well, but again, I didn't have the time to do that. White sewing batting would work to cover up the top of the base too. Aside from all that, it's still a pretty tree. It took me one hour to set the tree up by myself. Including the time to make repairs and adjustments. I got the 6' tree. I have the tree topper in place but that is all the decorating I've done just yet. The box the tree arrived in was not too difficult to manage alone. It's more awkward due to the size than it is heavy. I am 61, and I managed it just fine.

Beautiful and Just Perfect for a Small Place!!
Perfect for our small townhouse. Easy to assemble, sturdy, well made, easy to fluff with no bare spots, and lights were evenly distributed. I received my order quickly so I could begin getting ready for Christmas. It arrived in excellent contrition, exactly as described. Highly recommend!

Beautiful tree and perfect for a small space
I love this Christmas tree. It’s beautiful, and the size is perfect for my small place. It has enough presence to feel like a real holiday decoration without taking over the room. I also saved the box, and the tree folds back up nicely for storage each year. I’ve had it for three years now and it still looks just as good as when I first received it. This feels like a quality product, and I’m very pleased with it.

Precioso
