Best Overall Earbuds After 1+ Years of Use -- Great Value and Price!
I ordered two pairs over a year ago and have found these to be the best overall earbuds in terms of comfort, battery life and sound/call quality. I've tried various other retail and amazon brands in the earbud products but the occiam product has been as good or better than many of the pricier/"name-brand" devices. I have issues with most earbuds as I cannot stand the feeling of stuffiness/pressure when most earbuds are worn, but I don't experience that sensation when wearing these. They are very adjustable in that regards, with the earhook plus inclusion of multiple sizes of ear cushions. So I can push them in deeper to get better sound/volume or worn loosely and still very comfortably and securely. They also work well independently -- which means that there is not a left/right dominant pair in terms of use. You do lose the ability to manage the previous/next track (L pair - Previous/R pair - Next) if used individually, but otherwise, you can do everything else, control volume, take/end/reject calls, play/pause, and power. Battery life is phenomenal overall, but combined with the individual use, staggered charging, battery/charge case, it's basically non-stop. Now if you could keep somehow from losing one of the pair, these would be perfect! As a family, we now own 3 pairs of these, plus I'm still using the 1 that I lost the matching pair to still. I don't normally use noise cancelling, so the lack of active noise cancellation is not an issue for me, and I did give these a middling mark for that. There is some passive noise cancellation, since, they do have the earbud/cushion design and can be inserted snuggly into the ear canal. I don't know about their lifetime warranty (they have their own that you can register for on their site) as I've had no issue with them, but at least for now, that's more of a plus than a minus.

Still my go-to pair
My ears are very small and struggle to hold any earbud, so I really wanted earbuds with a hook in the back. These were inexpensive and had what I wanted, so I thought I'd give them a try. I was honestly blown away by the sound quality, feel and battery life in both the buds and the case. I can't really speak for the mic since I don't use them for calls. Sure they aren't noise cancelling or do anything fancy but for the price what else can you ask for? I have pixel buds pro and over-ear noise cancelling Sony headphones. The pixel buds don't sit right and die much quicker. And the headphones give me headaches from the weight on my head after some time. So these earbuds are PERFECT for extra long gaming sessions, listening for music for hours or doing vigorous activity where you'll be moving your head a lot. They've never slipped or fallen off when I wear them, and I love that I can just take them out of my ear but still have them hooked and secured. If anything ever happened to my pair I'd definitely be buying another, but I've had these for a year now with no real noticeable change in quality or battery.

Better than Beats?
My first bluetooth headphones were the Powerbeats Pro. (They were a Christmas present, I wouldn't have gotten anything that expensive.) Since they were my first ones I didn't have anything to compare them to. Powerbeats Pro (Roughly 1 year) The beats were really cool at first, but ended up really finicky, were difficult to keep connected, I had to disconnect and reboot them far too often, would never sit in the case right so they were never properly charged, and the worst part was that I needed an app to use them. Because of the price, my stomach dropped every time they fell even a short distance. But I didn't know any better than to love them! Eventually they stopped taking a charge; eventually they stopped turning on at all; eventually the case completely died. Buying new ones was waaay cheaper than servicing them. They're in a box somewhere. Occiam (1.5+ years) After an absurd amount of research, I settled on these as a replacement. Note, I wore these all day, everyday. By which I mean 8am to 4 ish, then I'd charge them about half an hour, and then 4:30 until 10-11 or whenever I went to bed. They did get some water on them (not regularly, but at least once a week), and (maybe gross to hear, but) I do make a lot of earwax - my point is, I really wore these out. The price made the whole process less stressful. That was worth it. The sound was surprisingly good, definitely better than the beats (by the time that they had died). I really expected the $300 headphones to have better sound quality after 1 year than $35 headphones out the package. I was very pleased right of the bat. I used them for short phone calls, but nothing that extensive, so I have no opinion about the mic. The connection was iffy at times. They were reliable in that they weren't very hard to connect, but after a little while if I touched... like, possibly any item whatsoever, they would go out. Sometimes they would go out when I wasn't doing anything, but they would come back on about a second later. This didn't bother me because I'd had such a hard time connecting the Beats; I was grateful that they worked at all. The fit wasn't all that special. I got over the ear because my ear canals are small, I guess, and all kinds of ear buds always pop out - including these. (Even using with the smallest tips.) When they would come out, I would just push them back in. Since the buttons weren't so easy to press, this wasn't a problem. With the Beats, I would accidentally push buttons all the time. People complained about these buttons being too hard to press, and they're not wrong, but I just used another finger to support the earbuds or just pressed the dang thing in my ear harder - it didn't bother me. The interface I liked. You could use just one at a time, which I never did, but more importantly both earbuds had all controls so I could control them despite my hands being kind of full. The battery life was decent, but nothing I was too impressed by. Maybe 8 hours of play time - at first! Which brings me to why I stopped using them. At some point (maybe 6-8 months in) they would only hold a charge for 3-4 hours. Usually if there was a charging issue, I'd just clean the case and whatnot and it would be fine, but nope. No matter what I did they wouldn't hold much of a charge. This was a problem because I needed to block out my coworkers for at least 8 hours a day to keep my sanity. So I retired them as backups and bought new ones. My newest ones were bluetooth but connected by a wire, which has pros and cons. Recently the wire connection got messed up, and I turned back to these hoping that after 6 months of not even needing my back ups, these would mercifully allow me to bridge the gap to purchasing my next pair. Charged the case, popped them in, they work just fine. I haven't used them long enough to re-test the battery life. And despite the overall pleasant review - I won't be repurchasing them. Edit: (Week or so later) I tried two other headphones and I am going to get these again instead.

This is a good wireless earbud system for my computer.
I got this earbud system mainly for listening to my computer when others are around. I found the earbuds to be good, but not great. They provide good sound quality and will last all day when fully charged. They fit into a charging unit that will take several hours to charge them up again. I found the instructions to not be very helpful but it is easy to figure out the basic functionality of the unit. There is a little bar to push to turn the unit on and then it will pair with the computer's Bluetooth system. I can wander around the house and listen to music or videos nearly everywhere throughout my somewhat large house. After a few minutes of usage, these buds are very comfortable and you forget they are in the ear. I have gone to bed with the buds in my ear which I feel when my ear lays against the pillow. All in all, they are good buds and in my opinion worth the price. You can pay a lot more but most users would not notice a difference with more expensive systems.

Needed wireless ear buds that stay put during workouts.
I just received this product. They paired easily, both with each other & my phone. Comes with adjustable fit & over the ear is comfortable & feels stable. Sound quality is as expected for the value price. Volume is good, not much for bass, but that’s to be expected. I have a high end pair of buds, but they do not stay in my ears when I am active & they were expensive, so I’m nervous wearing them when active.. which is the whole point in wireless buds.. purchased these because of positive reviews, adjustable fit & reinforcement on my ears. I just popped them in, so I can only give preliminary views, but they are actually very comfortable & feel secure. They are supposed to be waterproof & came with an exceptional warranty. Product registration was fast & easy, as long as they are honest, it is an amazing purchase. Going to wear them throughout the day & see how it goes. They are cheap enough, that I am considering purchasing for my kids (9 & 11). I never leave reviews, but so far I’m pretty impressed. If there’s something significant to include in an update, I’ll do that, but so far they are very promising.

Favorite Wireless Headphones
As someone who hates apple airpods because they won't stay in my ears, these are the best. I've had two pairs over the last six years and love them. They stay in place while running or doing other cardio activities. They pair easily to my phone to take calls. The charging case is sleek and fits in a purse or side backpack pouch easily. Sweat doesn't seem to bother them and I like that they come with a few different sized ear hole buds because I have tiny ears.

Updated: wish I had returned them.
(Update) one light fall from about head height to a bench that was knee high was enough to break the over-ear arm off of one of the earbuds. And because they are some sort of silicone or rubber, neither epoxy or CA Glue with activator spray would hold. Just releases from that material like there was no glue at all. So they are completely unrepairable. Ok, so I moved them to my bed side table to use with my tablet late at night when I don't want to wake the Mrs. Well they still BARELY keep a connection to the base to turn off and charge. I have to keep something sandwiched in the case to help hold them down to the contacts. These were the worst earbuds I've ever used. I bought a completely different set from another brand but still in the $20-30 range and those are amazing. I've been using them daily for the past year without any trouble. If I knew then, what I know now, I would have returned (or never even bought) these. (Original review) I'll start by saying these are my first "true wireless" earbuds, as I was upgrading from my previous BT set that still has the wire between left and right. So I dont have any experience with any other high end true wireless buds to compare to. At first, I really liked these. They are inexpensive (even cheaper for me because I bought them on Amazon prime day), light weight and good sound quality. Over the past month since I bought them I have liked them a bit less and less. First off, they tend to drop every now and then. It's always a quick second or two. Sometimes left ear, sometimes right, sometimes both. It's always a quick drop and I don't have to do anything to reconnect. But it is annoying. And it seems worse when I'm out running. It could be my old galaxy s8+ I'm connected to and maybe a newer phone would have a more stable connection. But I didn't have any drops with my old BT set. Next, when laying back (like doing situps or bench press) they slip loose from my ears. They don't fall, but out enough to drastically affect sound quality. Next, sometimes the volume buttons simply don't work. I end up having to either dock and undock or manually off/on 3 to 5 times in a row and finally the volume buttons work again. Lastly and most importantly, the charging case and connectors. There are instructions that came with it telling you if you have charging issues, to clean the contacts with isopropyl alcohol. Well I was surprised to be having charging issues less than a month in. When they are removed from the charging case, they automatically turn on. Well since the connectors were having issues, I found that while in my house my phone was connected to the earbuds that are in the closed case in my gym bag. I finally got a chance to clean the contacts today and they seem better, but I REALLY had to scrub them. And even scrape one contact with my knife. I almost feel like I need to pack a little thing of iso in my gym bag to clean them after each use. Also the connectors in the case itself are spring loaded pins. Well one of the pins is stuck recessed in. Doesn't SEEM to be causing a problem because that side still charges when put in. But it's annoying that there is just something else wrong. Summary: They were cheap enough and ok enough that I'll probably keep them rather than returning them. But if I could go back and do it again, I'd probably look for another, more respected brand.

Great comfort and value. Best bang for your $$
OCCIAM BLUETOOTH HEADSET REVIEW - UPDATED AFTER FAIL (Happy ending) iPod style headsets do not fit me, ever. These are super lightweight and very secure with the adjustable ear wrap. I often forget I’m wearing them. They’re easy to pair up with your device and once paired, will automatically pair with that device by default. Sound quality is excellent for phone calls. No extraneous static. Callers never know I’m on a headset. Music sounds very good. With a full charge, I can listen continuously 8-10 hours. A brief top off from the charging case and I can go round the clock. Charging is fast and easy. Controls are reliable and simple to memorize. You can pause, play, adjust volume, advance to next track or go back to the previous. The only thing you can’t do is fast forward or rewind within a track. For the price, these headsets rival much more expensive ones. An amazing value. Would definitely recommend. UPDATE: I use these every day. For phone calls, podcasts, music, zoom, streaming - everything. Heavy duty daily use. I’d have made a great test subject! After 6 months, the L ear started to work only intermittently, then stopped working entirely. I wrote to Occiam’s customer service and got a prompt reply. Initially they suggested several potential fixes - eg: clean the contacts, disconnect then pair again with my device(s), etc. I am actually an audio professional but I tried their suggestions anyway. Not surprisingly, none made a difference. I informed customer service and they sent me a brand new factory sealed replacement - new headset, new charging case, everything. After having only one working earbud for over a week, I am SO happy to have stereo again! I am very pleased with their customer service - fast, courteous, and hassle-free. If only every company was this responsive! All they requested was proof of purchase which I provided by sending my order #. Since they sent a new pair, I now have a spare R. Actually going to buy a second set anyway in a different color so I’m covered no matter what. At this price, it’s a no brainer.
