Excellent mount for HT with speaker-mic
I used this cup holder HT mount when I started as a Technician; liked it so much, I got one for a friend when she passed Technician exam. It's ideal for turning an HT into a "mobile rig".

Works well, lots of flexibility.
I use this to mount my Yaesu FT-891 face plate and a remote speaker for use in my Jeep and in my Toyota Tundra. There’s a great range of adjustment and it fits steadily in a cup holder. Unit comes with two different mic holders but in my configuration I can’t use either one so I’ll fabricate something eventually.

Nice product for the price. Works for what I do.
I didn't want to mount a bulky center console with things that I don't use. I came across this item and it was what I had been looking for. Everything seems to stay nice and snug. I will say that the actual mount that holds your radio and mic does move around a bit, but not too much. It works for what I do. I use it in my car. Now if you have a Jeep, Truck, or any type of off road vehicle that you intend on using this with to support your radio then you will probably get too much movement. But if you have a car you want to throw a radio in it is a good little item.

Works well, I like it!
I set this up for use with my VHF, UHF, and scanner radios. The plate has enough holes to accommodate my mics and I used 10 lb velcro for the Uniden 436hp. For the complaints about the loose ball wheel fastener, I used my 🧠 brain and applied plumbers tape. One wind took care of any loosening. I live in Iowa, the roads here are NOT paved, very bumpy. The cup holder stays in place, doesn't wiggle, and the scanner doesn't move. I am a real person, not a bot. Come to Iowa, it sucks. (That's our travel slogan). SO THERE!

Works but the advertising picture is slightly deceptive.
In the advertising picture they show a handheld and mic hanging off the mounting bracket. In real life that wont work for two reasons. One is the bracket is slick and the radio tends to fall off of it. You'll need to fashion some type of mount to the bracket to clip your radio onto. Two, the weight of the radio pulls down the bracket and I could never get it tight enough to stay level. I tried it with my anytone 878 with the extended battery for reference. I ended up ditching this mount for another solution. I can see this working for other people or use cases but for me it wasn't a great buy.

One of a kind solution!
This product was exactly what I needed to keep my radio off of my center console, and in an easy to access location. I was worried about the materials used, and would still prefer a lightweight aluminum / metal version, but it's held up well. I only have to issues with it... 1. The tensioner for the mounting plate doesn't tighten very much, even when tightened beyond my comfort level. Even then, I still find myself constantly moving the plate back to level. 2. The mounting area for the hand mic/speaker is great, but they fell short on the mount for the radio. I had to re-engineer it with a SMALLRIG Holder for Portable Power Banks BUB2336. It holds the clip of my radio with, which I further secure with a red Think Tank tether.

Flimsy and cheap.
The base grips the cupholder in a secure and sturdy way. But because it has three "feet" that extend out to grip the sides of the cupholder, the amount of positions I can put it in are extremely limited due to the wide open slot directly in front of the cupholder. Okay, I can kinda make it work. Not great but it is what it is. This could be remedied by holding the base to the first arm with a hirth joint or face-spline type connector instead of the appallingly cheap cast pot metal rectangular keyway that wiggles and rotates and feels terribly unstable. The system already uses two of these joints, one at the bottom of each arm. This is great! It prevents slipping and flex. However, the thin, cheap plastic allows enough flex that it almost doesn't matter.

Decent but over priced!
This is a good item and appears well made, however it is hugely over priced for what it is. Pricing and delivery was from USA however the product came in a clear plastic bag from England. Packaging offered absolutely no protection to the product!

Impressive yet slightly disappointed.
The good: Fully adjustable expands to secure tight in most cup holders. Incredibly articulated works great in my standard. Does not get in the way of my drive selector. Price point comparison to others is great. Works with almost all handheld radios with no modding. Cons: It's 99% plastic. Works great in my car while out, not sure if it would be an appropriate options for someone who would want to offroad. Only metal part is the mounting plate. You get what you pay for. It works well for me. I don't off road, and just want to anoy my wife with radio chatter on road trips. I don't think you could make something like this for $60 price point. I do wish the articulated arm was some form of cheep pot metal over plastic. 4-5 stars, one off for 99% plastic
