What a great magnifier. This one was recommended and linked on my rimfire shooting forum so I bit the bullet (hehe) and ordered one. My primary use is for scoring USBR targets using a scoring plug. The magnifier cylinder is tall enough to fit a standard 22lr scoring plug. The clarity and lighting of this magnifier is incredibly crisp and bright making this the perfect tool for my uses. I'm also a bit of a mineral nerd so I've been using it to inspect some of my smaller fossils and gemstones as well. It was a little pricey but SO worth it. Really happy.

Like the product, but could use slight improvement: * Great image quality. The Diopter adjust is great, a must. * The reticle are great, but a bit distracting, if not needed. I trained my mind to ignore the complex reticle pattern * The One/Off switch is a bit stiff and its plastic form needs its edges to not be so sharp. * The LEDs must use a lot of current, as the light comes after a minute or 2, if left on. I therefore turn it off between readings. Despite these shortcomings (that could easily be fixed in the next Design revision), I like the product because it does what it's supposed to.

Super product and fast delivery

Disappointed with this item. “LED” lights are flickering and barely holds a steady light. The top cover (from the body where the battery is exposed is loose and doesn’t tighten as seen in the video. Maybe my product is defective?

I was tossed up whether to get this one or to spend the extra in order to get a Peak loupe. I can say that I'm 100% happy with my decision to get this one. Unlike other loupes I've used, there isn't any color fringing when viewing printed images slightly off axis. It also has a surprisingly wide aperture to look through, a very smooth and solid rotation ring for focusing, and the light is really a nice feature that wasn't available on the Peak loupes I was considering. I did remove the screen (glass chart) as it was too busy (I'd prefer one that just offered a measurement scale) and had to read the guide on how to remove the battery pull tab so I could get the light to work. I'm still getting used to working the snap on the case - I wish that was a little easier to secure - but I'm very happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

Great clear lens, especially with the LED light turn on.

I've owned quite a few loupes which I use mostly for checking film and negative quality for scanning, but also prints. This one is probably the best, and certainly the best value for money. The glass lens is very good, for a simple 10x lens, and helical focus is a nice touch that adds versatility. It is solid and well-made. The LED's are quite even and bright and very helpful for prints, and solve the usual loupe problem of your head blocking out light you need for inspection. Batteries are cheap AG9 alkaline button cells, although it uses 4 of them. Comes with a hook to fish out expired ones, inserting replacements is not too bad provided you have some dexterity and decent eyesight. The reticle is of no use to me, but it takes seconds to remove. It even comes with a simple faux-leather plastic case, which is not a thing of beauty, but is functional. Criticisms? Only that I too think a non-latching switch button might have been better, and save batteries from inadvertently being left turned on. But it's obvious when the LED's are on!

Lupa de ampliación variable, con muy buena iluminación, para cualquier uso. En mi caso, principalmente para revisar negativos y diapositivas, aunque puede utilizarse para muchas otras cosas. Con una construcción muy cuidada, lupa de cristal, un giro del ocular con una dureza significativa pero muy correcta para encontrar la ampliación necesaria y para que se mantenga ahí. El precio también es muy correcto teniendo en cuenta su calidad.
