The Witcher Boxed Set: The Last Wish, Sword of Destiny, Blood of Elves, Time of Contempt, Baptism of Fire, The Tower of The Swallow, The Lady of the Lake, Season of Storms

As a huge fan of The Witcher 3 video game, I had been meaning to buy these books for a long time, but never got around to doing so. The books are just as captivating and very easy to build a mental picture.I have read The Last Wish entirely and am partially through Sword Of Destiny. So far I have not ran into any of the print issues that early reviews have stated. The latter reviews showing the issue has been resolved is what gave me confidence in making the purchase. If I do run into any print issue, I will update the review to reflect that, but so far, so good.I love the cover art for these books, but I hate that the "Netflix" circle is part of the print. Not a deal breaker, but was not a fan of the Netflix series as far as I was able to stomach to watch. But believe me when I say that the book series (at least as far as I have gotten) is much better.

I received this particular set of books today. Because of the reviews with complaints of missing pages, this is the first thing I checked out. I wanted to make sure that these missed pages didn’t come with the set I bought. I checked all the pages that reviewers said were missing, and they are no longer missing. They are all there.The set itself was in perfect condition, all books are perfect. The only complaint I had was the way that the books were packaged. There were two cardboard coverings of the books. The first one had instructions on how to open that particular package, but the second one was at hassle and a half. It was wrapped in the box, but almost the entire box was covered in tape. I had read another review that said that the second box was trouble to get open. I had to be very careful with a knife, because any mistake I made would have damaged the setThis sellers price is at least $15 less than others. I was hesitant because I thought maybe it was less because it was somehow damaged or whatever, but that wasn’t the case. This was the best price anywhere. I could not believe it.Go for it! You won’t be disappointed in the least. Just be careful opening the boxes!

The Witcher book series is honestly my favorite. I didn’t expect to love it this much, but the world, the characters, and the drama just pull you in fast. Geralt, Ciri, and Yen feel so real that you get attached with them. Out of everything I’ve read, this series sticks with me the most. I always end up recommending it because it really is that good.

I was skeptical about purchasing this after reading the reviews about misprints. My wife and I went through every single page of this collection to make sure it was fine so if there is a problem, I could return it during my return period.I found NO ISSUES at all and no misprints. It’s a great deal and the books are nice! Would purchase again.

Really love this book. I watched the series first and thought the book would be great too- I was definitely right. I have ONE complaint. The box set does not come in order, which was very confusing. You are meant to read 2 of the short stories first and then get into the numbered series and finish with the final short story. However, the box set comes with the numbered series 1st and all the short series at the end so I read the numbered series 1st and was missing a lot of the foundational information. Luckily, I’ve seen the show so I knew but otherwise I wouldn’t have liked it by the time I got the third book in the series (number 3) I was like “something is wrong” so I did look at the order and realized I read it out of order so now I’m back on track, but hopefully this helps somebody else

Everything you need to dive into the world of The Witcher! Go ahead and just get this box set with all 8 of the books so you don’t have to hunt them down separately.

First off the packaging was really freaking good and none of books were in bad condition and even the case that houses them was in perfect condition. I was skeptical of buying cause of there being blank pages but when I checked though all 8 books there wasn't none at all, and the only time there is a blank page is between a song/poem then it leads into the next chapter. Not to mention these books came in 3 days early, and the story so far is amazing I would 100% recommend somebody theses books.After playing the games and watching the tv show I had to see what the books are like and man let me tell you your in a treat. So if you want to buy these books here go for it, you can always return it if it gets damaged etc.The only thing that is bad is the Now on NETFLIX on the books other than that not much to say.

•I want to start of saying, I do not have Prime. I ordered these on Sunday at 11pm and picked the slowest option because I'm not in a hurry, its for Christmas, and these arrived Tuesday morning. It said it was supposed to come on Saturday. So very fast shipping.• I didn't take them out of the cellophane because it is a gift, but the spines and edges are undamaged and the cover that I can see, is perfect. As others have posted, it does have the "Netflix" sticker on it, but that's not an issue for me.• As for the series, I've played the games numerous times and watched the show countless times, and love it. Amo el video juego y la lectura está maravillosa, un poco difícil si el inglés no es tu idioma nativo como en mi caso, pero si no te importa utilizar el traductor de vez en cuando son unos libros muy recomendables, vale la pena el precio por el paquete, es mucho más económico que comprar todos por separado

Firstly, check you are buying the full set, including the short stories. That may be why some options are more expensive.Secondly, it’s true it’s written in a more literary style than many. But I really enjoyed it. I think some critics highlight this to scare readers off.Thirdly, I checked (soft version) lots of words I didn’t know, and learned a lot. And they all fitted perfectly. Well done to the writer.Finally, the lore and world build are fantastic and comprehensive.A shame the adaptations are straying so far away.

I bought this "The Witcher" book set as a present for my partner. He wanted to get a full set of the books as he loved the TV series as well as the Witcher games he has played on PlayStation.I was a bit hesitant to buy it on Amazon as I saw some of these book sets arrived with the red "Netflix" sign on the cover which my partner didn't want.Luckily, the books arrived well-packaged in a box (quite heavy!). In perfect condition, sealed in cellophane. No Netflix sign either!My partner was very happy and so was I to see a big smile on his face.Since then he has read some of the books and enjoyed them very much.He told me the story follows the tv show closely but it's not entirely same. It has more interesting details and is a pleasure to read. Now I'm tempted to read the books myself.I believe this set can make a wonderful present to someone who is a fan of the Witcher. Or just treat yourself to this lovely collection!

Çok iyi bir şekilde paketlenmişti. Hatta ilk defa bu kadar korunaklı bir kitap seti geçti elime. Normalde iş bankası ya da ithaki gibi yayınevlerini tercih ederim. Fakat bu seri için Türkçe yerine ingilizce tercih etmek çok mantıklı.
