Metallic Brown Hand Woven Nylon Mayan 1 Person Rope Hammock, 'Caribbean Mambo' (Single)

I love to have a hammock on my balcony. This is my third one. I love the look and feel of this hammock. It's comfortable to lie in. It looks to be constructed well out of durable materials. My last hammock looked and felt good, but only lasted a year before it started falling apart. It was made of very thin threads. Admittedly, I can be rough on a hammock. This one doesn't feel like it needs to be babied, but is as comfortable as the last one. I'm expecting a few years of hammock relaxation out of this one. There are probably better hammocks, much better hammocks to be had, but not for this price.

This hammock is our second one, and quite different from the first. It has a slight smell, at least while it's new, but more natural than chemical; I find it...not unpleasant). I definitely get in and out of it carefully, and the makers advise lying in it across/an an angle, which does feel more secure and relaxing. A short nap in it, while watching my hummingbird feeder, was lovely! It is also easier than our first hammock was, with its heavy cotton rope and wood stability bars, etc., to take it down in inclement weather.

I really wanted to keep it but it's uncomfortable. Looks incredible on copper color and it’s well made. The strings are tighten in a way that do not allow the seating area to flex, so you can't really lay on it in a comfortable position. I'm returning it and getting a Yellow Leaf. I had one in the past and it's amazingly comfy.

Excellent hand-made hammock and I should have gotten one years ago! It is so comfortable and pretty. My husband and I both bought one and have used them almost daily for several months. They've shown no signs of wear or stretching. Well worth the price and it's a bonus that Novica is Fair Trade and features the artists. The hammock arrived neatly folded and wrapped in environmentally friendly packing paper (amazon of course put it in a plastic bag)

This hammock is so dang comfortable! By husband and I take turns every night laying on it outside at night. I have used it with both my little kids and it didn’t feel like it was going to break. Well worth buying!

Great product. It brings a deserted island look to your space. Great way to escape the heat.

This thing is too stiff, like laying log. The center is super stiff with sides all sagged out. Booo!
