Should these be Refrigerated after opening?

We refrigerate the cherries after opening only because my husband only eats a hand full daily for your. He places them in a small bowl with water to hydrate them a little as the cherries are harder from being refrigerate. Excellent product and we have been buying for years.

Can the sunflower oil be rinsed off or is it infused in the cherries?

No, you cannot "rinse" the sunflower oil off. Not sure why you'd want to. These cherries are premium cherries, plump, large, delicious. I use them to help with my rheumatoid arthritis. This particular variety has a bit of sugar added. They do make a "no sugar added" version.
