Cast Iron Wok Ring Support for Samsung, Whirlpool Gas Stove

If you are new to wok cooking, and don’t have a burner with one of these built in, you absolutely need to buy this!! It is solid and fits well on my stovetop grates. Easy to clean and well worth the money for easier wok cooking.

This made a huge difference using the wok on a gas stove. I didn’t expect to see that big of a change. The flame now gets around my wok more efficiently and the food cooks more evenly so it is very functional. It fits well on my Frigidaire Gallery stove, although it took just a bit of trial and error to figure out the correct alignment. It is good quality and good value and I would recommend it if you are just thinking about it.

It’s a great Wok ring for holding out 14 inch wok with no flat bottoms on our natural gas stove. On the bottom it had a little notch to hold its place on the original burner’s grates (ours are square grates, one for each burner, the type that has 8 arms pointing at the burner, one from each side and corner). The notches were under each of the 4 “knobs”. This plus its weight/heavy construction held well on our stove and was easy to put on and take off. Only thing I noticed was a a light burning smell from maybe the finishing that was used on it when using it for the first few times but this is common along with the other cast-iron like cooking tools I’ve used.

I had purchased an Indian wok, which has a very curvy bottom, which didn't rest on my stove. This totally fixes that problem - it notches on to my existing gas burner cover and gives a stable resting place for the wok so I can sit it on the burner without having to hold it. And it's small enough to fit easily with my pots & pans most of the time. It's welded black metal and quite sturdy. Can't see any problem with heat distribution. I'm not sure it'd be easy to clean if cooking got really messy - it's not non-stick, and it has plenty of corners and crevices to be a challenge to clean. That said, I haven't really felt it needed cleaning - the wok doesn't spatter much, and I haven't dripped any food on it.

We have been looking for a long lasting solution for our round bottom wok on our stove grill. This is the one that serves best! Heavy-duty and great built product! Love it!

A must for anyone who purchase a quality Wok that does not have a flat bottom. It is made of cast iron and is heavy, allows even heating for your Wok and fits the grates of a new Frigidaire gas stove. Worth investing in.

This heavy-duty, iron wok holder fits perfectly on top of my gas burner, holds my wok super well, is heavy enough to stay put and not move while cooking. Note: make sure to let it cool down before removing as it does retain heat!

I have been using this pretty much weekly for the past three years and couldn't be happier. My only complaint is that it didn't fit my stove properly when I first got it, but this was corrected after a few minutes with a metal file.

The concept behind a wok is that there is no flat spot in the bottom. The bottom fills with oil like a mini deep fat frier, and food can be staged or rest on the sides, and then finally brought together. If you have a fully curved wok and a gas stove, then something like this support wring will get the best out of your stove and wok. It has become an essential in my kitchen. The product itself is a nice weight, and cradles my woks well.

this is a great wok stand very nicely made out of cast iron. if you have a wok, you need one of these. keeps your wok in place while cooking. even when not cooking, your wok will stay nice and stable to load it up. those that are complaining that theres cracked- that's just the inherent nature of cast iron. when using this, you have to be careful to not drop it. all things made out of cast iron can crack if struck sharply. even cast iron pans and dutch ovens will crack if you drop them or bump them sharply against something. and dont ever try to wash it with cold water if its hot- all cast iron will crack. use common sense and it will last you a lifetime. this wok stand is essential if you own a wok. and its designed perfectly, not wasting any space. holds my wok perfectly. i use it daily with out any issues.
