I don’t usually write reviews but this item warrants a review! I have never received an item that I have believed is worth what I paid for it but this is one!!! Extremely well built and everything the advertising says it is and more. Very thankful for a very well thought out product and extremely happy with my purchase. On a scale of one to five this is a 10. For the money you won’t find a better one. Than you Rovsun for my Flanders Popper!!!

Nothing beats theater style popcorn. After a good deal of time reading and researching popcorn makers, I decided on this one and I’m glad I did. I’ve had it for over a month and make popcorn with it almost every night. Out of the box it was easy to set up and everything worked perfectly. I’ve read some people talking about how there are lots of un-popped kernels. The reason why is because these folks aren’t following the basic directions. You need to heat the oil up for 3 or 4 mins before adding the kernels. If you try to cold start it you’ll get lots of unpopped kernels. This is just how these machines work. So keep in mind that all you need to do is be sure to preheat the oil before adding the kernels and you’ll get almost every kernel to pop. This is exactly like movie theater popcorn. The smell and steam it produces is nostalgic. It includes a measuring spoon for oil and a 1/2 cup container for measuring the kernels. 4 tbs of oil per 1/2 cup of kernels and it’s perfect every time. Last thing, from a maintenance and cleaning standpoint, I’ve used it so far at least 20-25 in just over a month and aside from scooping out the unused popcorn, I haven’t had to deep clean it with anything at all. The glass is still relatively new looking and holding up quite well. Just a well made machine for home popcorn. Let’s see how it holds up over the coming months. I use it a lot. Giving 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.

I purchased a much more expensive commercial unit but returned it after two attempts due to the kettle being defective, as the popcorn came out chewy (confirmed not an ingredient issue but a kettle issue). So, I looked for another brand of a popcorn machine. After reading a bazillion reviews of all kinds of popcorn machines again, I decided to take a chance on the Rovsun unit. The Rovsun unit is not commercial quality in terms of being heavy duty commercial quality but the kettle is working correctly to make crispy/crunchy popcorn. In comparing to the commercial unit I had tried, this unit makes good popcorn and is easy to use. The unit was received with minor damage (old maid tray had a dent in it) but I can live with that. I purchased this unit at the end of April 2023 and have made an estimated 15-20 full batches with it over the last 30 days. Popcorn has has been great each time. As long as the popcorn kettle is reliable and lasts a long time, it is a great unit. If the kettle stops working, then that would be a significant problem. If I have any issues going forward, I will update this review. Today is the last day I am eligible to return the unit to Amazon (30 day returns) and have decided to keep it as it is working well.

I did a lot of searching before choosing this particular model and couldn’t be happier! Perfect size, packed to be delivered safely and works exactly as described, used it 3 times already and always pleased with it’s performance and easy cleanups.

Bought this popcorn machine for a party and it was so easy to use and even easier to clean. Popped the corn very fast and clean. Was pleasantly surprised by how good this item worked. Love this thing!! Highly recommend

I love this popcorn maker! I've wanted one for a very long time and read hundreds of reviews. There wasn't a model without problems - until I found this! The reviews were overwhelmingly positive. If you follow the directions carefully, it works like a charm. I felt like a little kid as I watched with wonder when the popcorn started popping and coming out of the kettle. I live in an apartment with limited counter space and this takes up only as much room as my microwave (but taller). Perfect! I recommend using a good popcorn and popcorn oil - I selected Orville Redenbacher's. It's light and fluffy. I'm glad I read the advice of one reviewer who said the trick to having most kernels pop is to let the oil heat long enough. The directions say 3-4 minutes, so I used an egg timer to be sure it was hot enough. The directions also say not to use more than 1 cup of popcorn and I was going for a test run, so only did 1/2 cup. It makes a LOT of popcorn! 3 huge bowls from just the 1/2 cup. The only thing was my kettle took some jimmying to get into place. I recommend lining up the gears and working the rear in first, then aligning the front. It's new, so i anticipate it getting easier with use. And DEFINITELY let the kettle sit with super hot water and soap for at least 20 minutes to clean.

I had a Presto Air popper that worked for 2 years, but since Covid our family has a movie night every Saturday night. I had spent 2 months researching for a new popper after our smaller air popper died. This one had barely any bad reviews so I bought it with the protection plan just in case. It came earlier then expected and was well packaged. The doors and windows are real glass not plastic so be careful when unwrapping it. It was much bigger then I thought it would be, I should have bought the cart too. It had a small dent where the drawer goes in, but it doesn’t stop the drawer from being used. We’ve had it for over a month now and so far it works great. It pops more kernels than it spits out and we have yet to have a burnt batch. With minimal assembly it’s easy to use and it’s easy to clean. It’s the star of movie night!!!
