10 years still strong
I have now owned this sub amp combo for 10 years. When I first hooked it up, I had a seperate amp not realizing it came with one. How could it be this cheap and have its own amp? I hooked it up to a 2f capacitor (I recommend at least 4, 8 is better) to ensure clean power delivery.. and it knocked my socks off. This is not a competition sub. But for music lovers that want clean bass and decent thump that won’t rattle your windows out, THIS thing delivers!! Highly recommended, still going strong after 10 years… I only have had to replace my capacitor due to it being underpowered and hard on my alternator.

Very impressive!
Thank You so much for this great product! It is everything I was looking for and more! I had a little trouble at first but after I replaced my 4 year old remote wire and AUX cables the true power was unleashed. I used to have 2 12s and this single is better than my old 2 12" kenwoods. Its a clean bass, no punch, very defined and low frequency. I currently have my gain at 50% and will probably have to lower it to 30% because its so freakin loud. Great package for only $90. I will be recommending this product to anyone looking for a good sub. My car is a hatchback so space is limited but if I ever get a bigger car, I will definitely be buying a second one.

great sub, worth the money
This sub performs the way it says it does. I noticed that when I drove for a while the sun would randomly turn off or stop playing music and I thought I was having the over heating problem....but I just had to ground the sub a little better because I had it grounded to painted surface. Try that before sending it back of trying to cut vents into it. It works fine now and I put it in my 91 4Runner and it hits so hard. Definitely recomend, 4 out of 5 stars just because it's not for competition.

Ive been pushing it for about 3 months now and its reached its break inpoint and sounds awesome. Its not super "rumbly"
When dialed in, this thing is absolutely unbeatable for the money. Ive been pushing it for about 3 months now and its reached its break inpoint and sounds awesome. Its not super "rumbly", but the kick drums hit hard, and the bass is very defined and distinguished. When properly wired, and when the gains and crossover are set well on your system, this thing will deliver!! I have pushed it very hard, to the point where my aftermarket main speakers where distorting, and have yet to have any clipping or distortion!! Id definately vouch for the 300w continuos and 500w peak claims!!! Build quality was great out of the box and very professional, Im amazed at the quality of the build, even if the materials aren't supposed to be "top notch" they still look and feel like it!! I can tell definate differences when playing highest bitrate music (320kbps), and would suggest using highest quality music. Overall, a ridiculous good deal so far!

You get what you get
First things first, THIS IS BOT A HOGH WUALITY SUBWOOFER. You cannot get a high quality one or expect a high quality one for $100 (what I paid at the time). My expectation for this unit was bass, not good bass, just bass. I like car audio and I’m generally an audiophile, but I don’t have hundreds or thousands of dollars to spend on a good setup. For the price, this subwoofer is pretty good. It’s average. It gets you pretty loud bass, and fills your ears, but it takes a hell of a lot of work to actually tune it to sound the way you want it to. It sounded great for about a week, I had it behind my seat in my 4 runner, but moved it to the back and the sound quality diminished so I moved it back. I didn’t change a thing or damage the sub, but when I moved it. Somehow in the process it developed a rattle. This rattle sounds horrible, and it’s honestly hard to listen to, I have to keep the bass really low for it not to rattle, basically off. So would I reccomend this unit? No, it’s not worth the money you spend, save up another $100-200 and buy a single scar audio subwoofer with an enclosure, and a 800Watt amp. It will sound better, look better, and is a better value.

I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN!
i had the sub hooked up for about two or three days and it worked GREAT. don’t get me wrong , it’s a good sub and it hits hard , but it is VERY CHEAPLY BUILT. when i turned my truck on yesterday morning like i normally do i heard a loud pop. keep in mind i only had the gain about halfway up and the frequency at around 30. i turned up my radio to 15 and all i could hear was very demonic sounding words. it made me really mad because i was on my way out of town. now i don’t have any bass at all and i’m really mad about it. and the company hours are stupidly outrageous. but i will admit , it’s alright if you’re looking for temporary bass.

Reliable and very robust
This is a self-driven amp that has a nice cabinet, two options for connection. Direct or via coaxial. I bought one for my son's 2001 Jeep for Christmas and it is and was a hit. I was so impressed that I decided to buy another for myself recently. I BARELY got it to fit into the trunk of my 2006 MX-5 but after removing the grille was able to. Very reliable sound and very deep and clean base. A GREAT VALUE. Comes with a sticker too which I happily placed on the garage beer fridge. BTW I am 47, not a youngster.

Do not buy
Well, I guess I should be fair. This may be a good product however "Brand Name Beat", the seller sent me a product that had Rusty screws. Very single screw was rusty. I assume that why it does not work or sound correct as I assume all the parts inside are rusty as well. I have now been waiting over a month to get this rectified, I am very unhappy to say the least.
