I have zero complaints. It does what it's supposed to do. I especially like the fact that I have a portfolio-type phone case and I'm still able to put the phone in the holder--case included--provided that I don't close the phone case.

After trying several car holders I was surprised by the quality of the adhesive the rubber base is held firmly in place and does not peel off even with the weight of my phone and during long journeys the automatic clamp works well the wireless charging is fast feels resistant and of good quality.

Phone mounts are a everywhere, and it’s rare to locate one which stands out from the crowd. I think we have found one here. I have sectioned my review out below for easy reference, so what are we waiting for lets get to it! Who is this product for: I’ve always said, every product is for someone, so who is this for? Short answer people who own a phone and drive a car! Does your phone support wireless charging? Do you own or operate a vehicle in which you want to charge you phone? If you answered yes, you are the market. Value: This unit is a good value if you ae in the market for a premium phone mount and charger. I’ve bought more expensive models which offer similar or even fewer features. Features: This unit comes with 2 mounting options, one which mounts to the vent on your car, I was not able to use this as the vents in my cars are very deep, as such the mount would not reach and grab them. I was able to use the mount to hold this to the windshield and I liked that this adjusted on angle, and allowed me to tighten and lock it into place, so it did not move while I was driving. The arm extends and the ball/socket mechanism was adjustable and held my heavy S24 ultra and case in place with little trouble. The locking mechanism is motorized and grasped the phone firmly enough to hold it but not press buttons or compress the outside case. I am over all happy with the way it’s held into place. The charging rate of 15 Watts works well and was able to charge my phone through it’s case (my case is very thick). Do know that this unit works best with a QC charger. As well there is a light on the side which will not turn green if the correct power is applied. Build Quality: The unit feels solid and well built. The motorized section moves smoothly and very quietly, the materials feel high quality and I anticipate they will last a number of years charging you phones. Controls: There is a single button on the side that controls the release and close should you need it. This unit when open will also sense your phone close and start charging. Aesthetics: I find this device to be sleek, simple and elegant. Overall I am pleased with it how it looks. Overall: This is a mid-level priced phone holder (although this is on sale at this moment for 23.39 with a 20% off coupon). With Higher level features and elegance, if you need one then go for it! This is a solid unit for a good price. Be sure to pick up a good QC 3.0 charger for the best performance.

I am happy to have bought this. It was the best one I could see for any reasonable price. It feels like aluminum - pretty solid but light and prevents heat buildup. I compared phone holders for over an hour looking unsuccessfully for faster charging, verifying a firm hold of the horizontal air vents among other things. I preferred a red/maroon color and I got what is pictured - but for the black glassy part - that is matte maroon, not a classy. I like the smooth open/closing and how it auto-centers and straightens the phone on the charger while leaving my headphone jack accessible. Yeah, we're old, my car and I. I haven't tried the sticky base. It looks functional but I live in the souther US - few adhesives do not yield to the unrelenting heat. So I chose the vent attachment to avoid ill-timed surprises. The vent hooks are really solid - a twist clasp holds them shut much more effectively and maintenance free than a spring clasp. In fact, I'm convinced that the vent flap will break before the hooks release (for better or worse). However, this phone cleverly provides a flat base that sits against the vent, spreading the load somewhat to reduce the strain. I have seen a video showing where the ball was not well attached in the moulding process, but it appears solid on my charger. The charging face locks into place and doesn't droop if you tension the locking nut. The phone charging works fine. Some people complain that it's not as fast as a home Qi charger, but 15W is the performance ceiling at this point in time, from what I can see. Likely the 12V cigarette port is the limiter, not the device. Mine did bump the phone charge while it was playing music and GPSing. The auto-close / auto-open when I turn the car off and on is spotty but a real pleasure when it works. It will open when I press both buttons, even after the car engine is turned off so I don't begrudge it. This phone holder/charger is probably one of the top choices out there at the moment (mid 2024). I recommend it.

I've tried multiple car phone mounts over the years, with and without wireless charging and automatic gripping. My first mount that gripped automatically had a button I had to press the phone against to activate. It worked okay, but was inconsistent with charging and finicky. It only lasted about 5 months before I had to get a new one. The next one used a light sensor to close the arms. That was the worst design. The sensor would activate falsely quite often when not in use, then it stopped charging half the time, so I would have to plug in my phone directly. The mount had some battery power to let me use it unplugged a couple times, but after that I'd have to switch the cord back from my phone to the mount again to get it to open. Then the retraction stopped working, and I had to close it by force. Overall it only lasted 6 months before I was ready to buy a new one, which is how I found this mount by CHGeek. I needed a mount that wouldn't break down in six months, would activate reliably, and charges consistently. After the issues with the previous mount's light sensor, I was concerned that this CHGeek mount would have similar troubles, especially since I wasn't clear on how it activates. However, it seemed to be the best option, so I crossed my fingers and tried it out. I've now had this charging mount for over a year and a half, and it's still going strong. It's easily my favorite mount, because it is super simple to use, and works reliably. The way it activates is geniusly simple – when the phone is set inside, the arms close as soon as the wireless charging kicks in, which is immediate. It charges quickly, and if someone else is driving who has a phone without wireless charging, the mount still works perfectly fine just by pressing the side button. The closing mechanism hasn't worn out, and the mount itself is sleek. It holds onto the dashboard quite well also. Although it can loosen occasionally, it's a quick fix. The rotating/tilting mechanism holds securely. The only negative thing I can really say about it is that the black finish on mine soon turned to a bronzy color on the metallic portions under UV exposure. Unexpected, but I don't think it looks bad. I often do deliveries and may use a company vehicle, or if that's not available, get reimbursed for using my vehicle. When I use my vehicle, I have no hassle getting in and out of my car with my phone and always have a full battery despite constantly using my phone for dispatching and GPS.

I really loved this phone holder! I am so bummed it didn’t work out. I got it about half a year ago, in the fall. The wireless charger was SO nice, because my aux usually drains my battery. This gave me assurance that my phone would be charged after any drive. The automatic prongs that secure the phone in place usually worked, but sometimes I’d have to manually trigger it to lock and unlock. That wasn’t a huge deal though — I think I may have broken it by turning the car engine off before pulling my phone off (no power to use). It was secure on my dashboard until the summer heat hit. It hit 90 degrees, so I found it on the floor of my car instead. The adhesive melted and I haven’t been able to use it again since. Overall, I think it’s a great device if you live in a cooler climate.

Love that it cradles any phone and charges at the same time. I have been very pleased with this product. It is stable and easily adjusts. The automatic cradling is wonderful.

Edit: Wireless charges my Google Pixel 6 Pro intermittently because of the coil location. I just added 2 adhesive felt strips on the bottom arm to lift the phone up, and boom, perfect. It ended up solving the high pitched squeeling noise too. Pros: The best part is the clamp system. It automatically closes the clamps when it senses the phone has been placed on it. The motors activate for 2 seconds, then keep the phone in place tightly. When you want to take it off, the electronic button on either side automatically releases the clamp. Easy easy easy. The suction cup is a little sticky, and strong. Works super good on flat surfaces. Curved surfaces start to diminish its abilities. The top and bottom of my dash was too curved for this, so I put it on the back of my center display (2023 Tesla Model Y). Doesn't vibrate, very sturdy. Cons: The cable is a tad short, but I mounted mine closer to the center console on the dash, so it was fine for me. Maybe not fine if you mounted on the far side and the closest USB is further away (glovebox or near arm rest), especially if you want to hide the cable under the trim. I do wish there was a way to tighten the ball joint mount, cause I can still move it. I would feel better if I didn't have to adjust it if I bumped it accidentally. Though, it does stay in place, even during bumps. (Solved. See edit at the beginning) I do sometimes hear a high-pitched noise after clamping the phone and the motors have stopped. Some older people probably won't hear it. Goes away after 5 seconds. Not the same noise as the motors clamping into place. I hear the motors activate for 2 seconds, then 1 second of silence, then this high-pitched noise.

After purchasing cheaper identical model, returning and purchasing this model I thought oh no not again, identical packaging, same model number, but alas, must be the upgraded model and charges near identical speed as my 15 watt desktop charger. Also DOES RELEASE EVEN WHEN IGNITION OFF unlike the cheaper model. Also using flip case, with the case flipped open and around the back of phone, so double layered cover still charges without an issue. THUMBS UP!

Used with Samsung S24 Ultra in Tactical Manly Man (very manly) big chungus case. I was reluctantly persuaded to upgrade to one of these modern mobile phones, I'm not into modern things but I appreciate it when something is well designed and genuinely makes your life better. As my old phone cradle no longer fitted my new oversized chunk of modern tech, I was forced to get this new item... and, this is one of those things that despite being essentially, a humble phone cradle, makes your life better. First things first. The sucker is one of these new gel type affairs that not only "glues itself" temporarily to your glass, but has a lever which increases the suction force (it also comes with a vent clamp). Next, the arm is substantial and very adjustable. Not only is the S24 heavy, but the very manly man (did I mention, it was manly?) tactical case adds weight and size to the whole affair. The arm doesn't move, even over bumpy tracks and the clamp fits well around the case. Now, I've saved the best bits for last... The clamp. It's motorised!!! You place your phone (in it's manly case) in the cradle and not only does it charge wirelessly, the clamp automatically grips your phone in a loving yet firm caress!!! The fit is fantastic!! With a press of the well located buttons, your phone is released from it's temporary home, back into your loving hand. It's a really good bit of kit. For something as simple as a phone cradle, it exceeds expectations and does it despite asking a bit too much of it, really. Well worth the money.

Wanted a gold colour so had to wait a bit, but it was sooo worth it! Very beautiful! Every time lifts my mood when I'm sitting down in my car😂 holds amazingly and secure! Wireless charging works, though I'm not using it as my phone is a flip phone and this holder is for standard size phones. It's a great quality phone holder! Absolutely worth the money!
