Rabbit Emergency kit and Bulk Recovery Food (800 Grams)…

I messed up and I will own it. I ordered two bags of this and I don’t even have a rabbit. I was drunk and I meant to order guinea pig food, but I didn’t. I donated it to the Humane Society and they fed it to the bunnies that came in that were starved. It saved lives and allowed it to be easily digested and kept them healthy until they were able to be adopted. I just re-ordered the guinea pig food. I’m not gonna ask for a refund. I’m the stupid idiot that ordered the wrong food. The Humane Society has dozens of bunnies, so none of it went to waste. They greatly appreciated the donation and fed it to them immediately.

This is a necessity for the bunny emergency first aid kit. I have had multiple rabbits with various periods of stasis over the years and Sherwood has the best quality, good ingredient emergency food (as well as pellets, treats, and supplements). The competitors, including the best-known brand name one, has ingredients that I don't want to feed MY rabbit, such as wheat, soybean, oil, etc. Sherwood has quality ingredients and also provides far more value for money in terms of package size. I typically crush and add some of their motility tablets into the food as well. See their website for educational info on their products and bunny health issues. I appreciate the fine grind that I can easily use in a 12 ml syringe (smaller opening) as the more-typical larger syringes are difficult for me to handle on my own and more difficult (too large) for the bunny mouth imo. Keep this on hand as stasis requires quick treatment.

After loosing one beloved soul mate to GI stasis I have this on hand at all times for our new bunny buddy. Our current bunny is older with a pre-existing mandible injury and the vet recommended adding a smalll dough ball of critical care to his daily salads to ensure he is getting enough roughage in his diet. Sheldon loves his dough balls and will devour them as soon as they are presented. He is happy and no issues and our vet recommeds this brand for bulk purchases. Subscribed and will remain so for so long as Sheldon is with us.

My buns love this. This has saved my bunny multiple times. I thought she was tired of her hay since she stopped eating. So I would feed her this as an emergency option.

We came across this product by accident! I was trying to order critical care for our bunny, Fuzz, and accidentally ordered this. But, it was a happy accident because we found that he absolutely LOVED it!! I didn't even have to put it in a syringe as he would eat it from the plate. And if we didn't keep his plate full of this, he threw a hissy fit. (See photo 😆) If you're a bunny owner, you know how important it is to have good, consistent poops, and, after he started eating this stuff, his poops were perfect! Better than they'd ever looked, actually. This happy accident gave us an extra year and a half with our sweet guy. ❤️ There are a couple downsides, but, to us, it was worth it. It is a bit expensive, and it is difficult to get outside of Amazon. (Make sure you order in advance!) It's something you have to mix with hot water and keep replacing throughout the day. It's MESSY! (See photos 😆) Our boy always had a messy little mouf and paws because he liked to claw it onto the floor, and then eat it. So, be prepared for mess. The reason we kept using it once his bout with stasis had passed was because he refused to eat hay and had endstage dental disease. While it didn't help his teeth, it helped his body gets the nutrients he needed. If you've got a bunny struggling with critical care, or who won't eat hay, give it a shot!! This saved my daughter's bunny's life. Her bunny got very sick from some contaminated carrots that were recalled and said to have had ecoli. We had no idea why her bunny kept getting worse and worse until we saw the recall notice. I quickly bought this and it was in the nick of time. Her bunny was weak, skinny and lethargic. Within two weeks of giving her this treatment, she was back to gaining weight and doing binkies. She's now a happy, healthy bunny!

This stuff is the best, it is the only thing that saved our rabbit. He was better after the first use and even better after two days.

Bunny took to the formula fine however, you need a large syringe. I had to grab a dog size syringe in a pinch at the store to make this work. Recommended syringes would be nice in advance.
