I've been on a lifelong quest for the perfect pair of everyday jeans—durable enough for yard work, comfortable enough for a long car ride, and presentable enough to run errands without looking like I've given up on life. Having worn everything from high-end designer denim to discount store brands, I approached these Wrangler Authentics with a healthy dose of skepticism, especially given the price. I'm now a convert. I've had these jeans for about four months, and they've been my go-to for everything from building a shed to grabbing coffee.The relaxed fit is exactly what it promises: not baggy, but with plenty of room where it counts. The cotton fabric feels sturdy but not stiff, and they've held up to numerous washes without any noticeable pilling or significant color fade. They’re a workhorse of a garment, and for the price I paid, the value is simply unbeatable. Amazon makes shopping so easy, simple and let's face it deliver to your place of preferred shipping makes shopping it really is a no brainer; especially with the price of gasoline these days. The only down side is when a vendor / supplier changes a product it, Amazon doesn't know. Clothes are almost impossible to buy on line with the exception of foundation items; (Socks, under garments and etc.)The original purchase has back in April of 2014...and they are still my go to pair of jeans for working around the house, the farm, wherever. Comfortable, nice medium denim weight and even with a few holes are sturdy enough to probably last another 3 -4 years.This is my third purchase of Wrangler Authentics Men's Classic 5-Pocket Cotton Relaxed Fit Jeans but will probably be my last. Like going to your favorite restaurant only to find they don't offer the "exact same" menu item, that is how I would describe this recent purchase of Wrangler jeans. Similar but not the same quality.These are made in Mexico, same product codes and etc. nothing has change but the jeans are definitely different. The first thing I noticed was how soft the denim was. It was like a bath towel. The fabric used to make the pockets are so thin, that you can almost see right through them.. The blue dye on the demin bled even after being set with my mothers patented reminder to always set clothes with salt water.Did I mention they were soft? I mean baby butt soft, you will look down just to make sure you have pants on. That is all well and good unless your wanting to purchase these to use besides lounging around the house. They are comfortable.While I am enjoying the fit, and feel of these jeans, I'm suspect they will are not going to last 8 years like their predecessors.In the past, these have been great inexpensive jeans very good value. Are they worth the purchase? if your looking for pair of jeans you can do some yard work and household chores and still hold up, I would say definitely consider other options. If your looking for a comfortable pair of Wranglers for casual wear, you might enjoy these. Just don't expect them to ever make as infamous as ZZ Top's Blue Jean Blues.

I bought these pants (46 X 30 in black) figuring that they would probably be so-so like everything else that seems to be made for people that aren't "perfectly shaped."I'm VERY happy to report that I was wro...wroooo....um...less right than usual. ;-) (Obviously, I'm a guy.) Anyway, they fit well, feel quite comfortable, including plenty of room up front for sitting for too long, driving etc. No binding nor need to adjust. TMI? Nope...that's kinda important to us fellas.Perhaps I just happen to be the right sort of fat, but these jeans fit better than any other (Seriously! I'm 54 and this is really true!) pair of non-tailored pants that I've ever purchased. This includes purchases I've made in stores that I've tried on the item. These still fit better than those. Yep. That would be part of, "Any."I will be buying more and would encourage you to seriously consider these jeans. I don't work for them, they have never contacted me, except by sending what I ordered, nor am I in any way benefitting by writing a review. I don't usually write a review, but this actually moved me to want to speak up about a product/seller that shows what honest, ethical and attention to detail/customer needs and feedback.In closing, one must ask the obvious question after reading all of this. That question is: "Do penguins have knees?" Whilst you ponder that, just think about how good those jeans are going to look on you. A coupla days later they're going to look great in the window of the laundry machine (front load) at the laundromat and again when you put them in the dryer. Other people are just going to sob quietly about how icky their clothes look when compared to yours. Okay. The fact of the matter is that, yes, penguins do have knees. Now that you know that, I'm sure you'll rest much better and probably get better fuel mileage. Of course, that may not be true.I hope you've at least taken away from this little novel, that I'm very happy with the product and will absolutely be buying more in the near future. The rest of the silliness is just there to, hopefully, bring a little smile/sunshine into your day/night and I sincerely believe that it will be passed on from you to others, thus we can all spread a bit of happiness in a world that is in dire need of more love and less hate.~peace to all
