So the more opaque the color is rated, the more coverage you will achieve with layering or mixing colors. How long does the ivory black take to dry? I’m new to oil paints so I don’t know how long each color takes to dry.

A few days on canvas, at least a week before display. If texture is thick maybe two weeks.
