According to Google standard Solgar Vitamin D softgels are not Halal unless explicitly marked. They typically use gelatin derived from bovine or porcine sources, which is not Halal. I was unaware so had discard them as it’s non returnable item.

I absolutely love this Vitamin D3 by Solgar, as it is made from high quality ingredients, which has helped me tremendously. Vitamin D in slightly higher dosage are especially helpful and beneficial to those who doesn’t get much sunlight. The softgels are just tiny, which is very easy to swallow. It doesn’t smell bad and leaves no undesirable aftertaste. They’re also easier to absorb than tablet forms as they are made in soft gels form. I highly recommend this effective Vitamin D, and brand to others as this is definitely worth the asking price.

Wish they put this in a vegetarian capsule . I have to cut it open and squeeze out the vitamin E to use it !!
