I use Vegamour serum because I love the product however I'm not a big fan of their dropper-style applicator. I feel like I get too much at a time, and it's hard to get the back of my head because I can't see it. This applicator allows me to deposit a small amount per-square-inch, and rub it in easily without it dripping down my face. I can also flip my hair over and get the areas around my ears and neck without feeling like I'll lose product to the floor from misfiring because of blind application. It DOES drip very very very slowly over time, and the hard cap on the bottom will collect a small puddle underneath the prongs, however it's easy to pop the soft cap on the top and pour it back in the reservoir.

When I saw this applicator I was excited to try it and ordered it immediately. I noted the high number of positive reviews and looked forward to using it. My excitement was short-lived. The product itself looks great and appears to be well made. However, it just does not work. A small amount of product does come out, but there is really no way of knowing how much you are putting on your scalp and it takes FOREVER to apply a reasonable amount. I tried it three different days and just got fed up with the time it took to use and not knowing how much I was putting on. I regret this purchase and wished it actually worked as advertised.

It is great for the gals & pals that would like to get nutrients (or medication) directly to the scalp. I've used it for scalp & root oils for general hair health care BUT if any liquid is needed to be a applied this is a great choice. Easy even application. Easy to fill. Ease of application, tiny rollers where directed. Feeds good actually. Don't push, it works with little or minimal pressure. Personal tip, take the time to not apply is a irregular motion. It is far better to gently do small swirls or in the direction of hair growth. Goal: do not tangle/damage while trying to repair

It gets the job done if you want an even application of oil on your scalp. It is messy though. There is not a perfect seal between the applicator and the black rubber cover that makes it a bit annoying. The cover keeps coming off mid application so I wouldn't fill it up too much. Also the cover keeps popping off unless I really dig may finger in to push it closed. And even then it doesn't always work.

this is a decent product and i like the concept a lot but it does need an upgrade. it snags your hair if you’re not careful, so do the tap thing like others have mentioned and less rubbing motions as the latter is when i feel those inconvenient tugs. i wish there was a way to store it face down without leakage and to be able to use circular motions to spread the product, but i guess i have to deal or stop using it altogether. overall it’s a good concept but i’m still on the fence about whether or not the things i don’t like about it are worth giving up on it but for oils and watery products, this is good because it wastes less product and you don’t have to worry about it spilling out of your hands when pouring it out to apply. it really depends on your preferences. in the meantime i’ll keep using it because i still like it for the more liquid-y products :)

Wasn't sure if this would get stuck in my dreads or not, but it certainly doesn't! I definitely have loose natural dreadlocks, but it should work for any dreadhead even if they're tight to your scalp. I think some of the bad reviews came from some of these things not working properly. I'm glad that I got one that works! A problem solver for tea tree application, at last!

I put in my oil product but when I rolled it on it don’t seem like really anything came out. The Metal also discolored the product I put inside.

Works great. Follow the included instructions. No need to fill it all the way up. Just add enough for a few uses. The top isn't really tight enough to travel with it full. It's tempting to depress the lid like a pump bottle, but the directions advise against doing that. The oil comes out just fine when you roll it on your head, so there's no need to "pump" it. Works perfect for us and looks the same as the more expensive one advertised on Instagram.

Very nice little device and easy to use. The best thing is that the oil can be applied to the scalp directly. No mess.
