For the past 8 years working here in UAE i never thought that i will end up loosing hair and dry skin as many do. But little did i know there is one magical and effective instrument that will help me to fight my falling hair and drying skin. If you think moisturising is enough for your drying skin well you are probably wrong. In that case you have to invest with a good water filtration that will help you to fight loosing hair and drying skin, and that is THE PURE BLUE filters!. Yep you read it right Pure Blue helps me a lot to fight my biggest nightmare in my life i mean who wants to get bald head no one right! this product gives you a fresh feel water on your skin plus the medium that they are using for filtration is one of a kind. They are using KDF 55 and I've read this medium and it is designed to removed chlorine and water solubles heavy metals that we never seen in water. Since i used this filter i noticed that it slowly prevent my hair fall and you will noticed it when you are doing your shampoo. If you noticed everyday while doing shampoo some of our hair strand come up with the bubbles of shampoo on our hand. When i used the Pure Blue filter it slowly stop loosing my hair i noticed that everyday.

A long term review here - I do see some change - especially on my hair which I wash daily. Hair quality has improved quite a bit since I started using this. While installation is easy if you have the right tools - a pipe or slide wrench should work, recommendation is to get it done by a plumber if you don't as this may leak or fall off if not tightened properly. Also, given where it needs to be installed, proximity is likely to be close to the wall that adds to the complication. There is a connector (L-shaped) that allows for installation in case the shower head connection is too close to the wall - this is the size of a water bottle and may not fit without this connector if the connection is too close to the wall. Water pressure slightly decreased after putting this on, but not so much to be an issue. More importantly, the water quality seems better since.

I’m not sure whether this is the solution to my hard water issue in my apartment. It’s rather bulky and heavy which makes it difficult to use for a hand-held shower head . I probably wouldn’t buy it again

Good quality filter, just remember to change every six months else water pressure reduces

We’ve been using the Pure Blue water filter since May, and honestly, I’m so happy with it! The water feels noticeably softer, which is so much crucial in the UAE ‐ my skin and hair are thanking me. Even our bathtub stays much cleaner now, with barely any residue. It was actually my hairdresser who recommended it, and I’m really glad I listened. Totally worth it!

Water flow becomes very low

This product is not comparable with all plumbing/ piping, I would definitely recommend checking the type of valves your bathroom has before purchasing. Not only was it problematic when installing, I have not noticed a single change to my hair since using. I’m not sure what it’s filtering, but after 4 months of use, I see absolutely no results.
