I've been collecting mechanical pencils, and this is one of my favorites so far. It is almost impossible to break the lead (even deliberately), making it best for those who tend to press hard and break lead. It also makes writing feel very smooth, applying an even amount of pressure with every stroke. It's a mechanical pencil that is easy to use and doesn't require skill, making it a pencil for everybody and not something that you have to "get used to." I even showed this to my friend and had to order another one since he was also fascinated by its anti-lead-breaking mechanism. This thing will probably last me a lifetime, so spending only $8 on this is WAAYYYY better than spending those $8 on a bulk of crappy lead pencils that will all disappear within 10 months.

Keep in mind, its slightly on heavy side and have thicker grip.
