This is very lightweight and handy. Easy to install once you do it for the first time, after that it's very easy. Bought the 2-bike model and tried it with one bike. You can choose to extend it or not based on the number of bike you are going to transport. Took one star away because while testing a slightly different positioning onto the car, I did scratch the paint. The leg rests are made of some plastic and not softer rubber so be careful. It appears that there is a reason why it should rest onto the glass and plate number.

Very good product and world customer service but the price little high

At first look the product is well designed, quality is good and you feel great but don’t be deceived. There is one single flaw in this design. The popping pins that lock the rack in place give in. Atleast mine did, the pins just get stuck inside and now they’re useless after about 3 uses. Unfortunately, the Allen customer service has poor response, and after repeated follow ups I have not received my replacement even after 45 days. Very disappointed.

Although the unit is heavier than I was expecting, it does appear to do the job. Needs a little effort to install it correctly, but it is simple enough. I bought the unit with a damaged box from Amazon - at a discount, however the carry bag and instructions were missing from the box on delivery. Apart from that, pretty happy so far. Let's see how it goes after use.

The product is good. But it didn’t work for me. I wanted it for my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2012. I asked this question before buying and was informed it will work. But no. It’s doesn’t work. It shows in the box it won’t work. Why don’t put that pic on the box here. Anyways I have to admit that the product is good and very easy to install and remove.

could not fit 2 mountain bikes, perhaps if the wheels and pedals were removed it might fit, ended up too much trouble, i used it just for 1 bike.

Estava um pouco cético por ser tão compacto, mas o design da Allen Sports funciona muito bem. Usei-o para levar duas bicicletas de adulto em percursos mais longos e o sistema de correias manteve tudo estável. As bicicletas ficam bem seguras e o suporte distribui bem o peso. Recomendo apenas colocar um pouco de proteção extra (como uma esponja ou pano) nos pontos onde as bicicletas podem tocar uma na outra, mas de resto, é um produto excelente. É muito prático chegar ao destino, tirar as bicicletas e guardar o suporte no porta-bagagens em segundos para não o deixar exposto na rua.
