Fun, flies far, easy to use, better than standard frisbee
Only one arrives and you can't chose color this is what I expected just letting others know. My color was blue so it might prove harder to see when going long distance in an open field as opposed to red. I would have preferred a color choice. Showed up on time, a fun frisbee to throw far and enjoyable to use. It's a fun frisbee for casual use which is what I use it for, not going to comment on like ultimate frisbee or frisbee golf as I dont know enough to comment on that. Throwing this won't really translate to other frisbees as well, I think it's honestly easier to use than a standard one. Seems to be more wind resistant and easier to catch as you can grab it in different ways. Flies well and true and can travel well at fast and slow speeds. Bounces off walls and the ground so you can bank it off of a fence. Soft and easier on your hands than a standard frisbee especially one that has seen some wear. This will not float and you will lose it in water. It is also easier to get caught on trees due to the hollow center but probably easier to get down as well. A perfect gift to help people get outside again and active opposed to being sedentary with electronics. I have great memories of throwing this with my father and decided to pick up one to throw with my boyfriend. Now we just need to both get better at throwing it. If it takes up a bend you can bend it back carefully. If bent it will lean left or right in flight and it comes with instructions on which way to bend it to fix this issue. I wholeheartedly recommend this toy.

Aerobie Pro Ring 13-inch
We have always been a frisbee family. Now the kids are grown and we have grandkids. When they come up to visit, we like to go out in the yard and throw around the frisbee. Sometimes the kids bring up their dog and the dog likes to chase the frisbee too. Last trip up, the dog chewed up our frisbee so I had to find a new one. I ran across this ring on Amazon. Looked interesting and durable so I ordered the 13-inch ring to keep around the house for when we had visitors. When it arrived, the wife and I went out to the yard to test it out. Wow! Does this thing fly! It appears to have a metal ring surrounded by some kind of rubbery compound so that it is easy to catch and doesn't hurt your hand. It is open in the middle so it is easy to srap your hand around the ring to throw it. You can throw it side arm like a normal frisbee, or throw it with a baseball throw which works just as good and actually better if you want to throw it out and have it float down to the catcher. This thing FLIES! Wow - with little effort, it goes high and long. You need a big yard/field or have a place where there aren't any tall trees. I can guarantee that it will get up into a tall tree if you aren't careful. I have had to get the ladder out several times after my 7-year old granddaughter got it over our heads and into the trees. This thing is very easy to throw. Our 7-year old granddaughter can hold the ring easily and can get this ring going some unbelievable distances for such a small kid. She has trouble with a regular frisbee and we were constantly chasing her misdirected throws with the old style frisbee. But this thing is so easy, she has learned to float it and throw it so the other end can catch it without running for their life. It was so impressive that I have ordered another 13-inch ring and 4 10-inch rings so I can pass these around to each of the kids families and family back in Iowa. The 10-inch ring is even easier to throw and goes a long ways. The 13-inch ring goes further, but the 10-inch ring is no slouch to distance. I think the 10-inch ring is better for small hands and is a little easier to control. But both sizes are a blast. Target sells a similar ring made by whammo, but it is made with a cheap plastic ring that seems to break easily. The Aerobie rings use a metal kind of ring with a rubber compound surrounding it so that it doesn't hurt when you catch it, but it also doesn't break. Our ring has hit a few tree trunks, been caught in the upper branches of trees, slammed into a rock wall, and still flies perfectly. This is a great toy!

AWESOME FUN!!! WE REALLY LIKE IT!!!
I played with the disc with my father and we had a good time and fun time too. Before I ordered and get this I had one Frisbee disc. It was different from my friend's who bought it from TARGET. It was a green disc so I decided to buy new one and bought it because my old frisbee was green and hard to see it because og grass, trees and bushes so that is why it was hard to see it so I needed a new frisbee disc. So I ordered it. I bought 2 discs. I got a yellow and magenta discs. When I ordered it I hoped that I did not get a yellow disc because I thought it will be hard to see it because of the sun. I didn't know if that was true. We did played it on a sunny day and we used a yellow disc. It was fine and we could see it on a sunny day. ( Yellow and Magenta disc on it say ( AEROBIE PRO RING and have some instruction on the ring ) and my old frisbee disc green that just say Frisbee Disc on the ring that it.. I think it differ producer the green one not AEROBIE PRO RING like that it was differ.. I really like it AEROBIE PRO RING IS BETTER than my old disc!!! ) I was really impressed and surprised when I saw how much farther it went. It went really farther than my old green disc. It was different and also when we threw the disc somtimes it went at the same level, sometimes it went higher then it changed and went lower and it still moved forward. Sometimes it moved higher then it stopped at that place and started to drop. It was easy to know and noticed if I needed to go backwards or forwards to catch it. And also it's true that it went faster than my old one. Also one time my father threw the disc and it went farther and closer to my other neighbor's house is front door and a little girl came out the door and saw the disc coming and she looked away blocked it with her arms. I thought that was funny! When I saw that happened and I laughed so hard. Also another time I threw the disc and my father didn't pay attention when I threw it. Then he looked at me and he said "Where is it?" and then he finally found it. He ran but it was too late. It passed him and it hit the car on the right side and rebounded off the car and went across the street and landed on the grass on left side! ( Ring is RUBBER and it won't stratch on the car ) It could rebound but my old one couldn't rebound! That sometimes happened to my old green one. It would hit a car then it landed on the street, driveway or other place where the car was. Also one time my father made a bad threw too low and it hit the street and it did rebound but did not go farther and longer just rebound a little bit. When that happened to me the car went farther after it hit the csr. Also many times when the disc landed and hit street it started to roll a little bit for a long time. I really liked it better than my old one and I would buy it again when I will need a new one... Also I played by myself I want to see how farther it went I threw the disc at corner and the street look like T that I threw disc and it landed on the 4th house!! That farther!! ( Also when I got this and saw booklet it say that world's record is 1,333 ft ( 409 m) WOW THAT REALLY FARTHER!! ( If you or other other first time play frisbee disc better go and play in safe play like in park or other that have big area and can play avoid from trees and other because it can be stuck in the tree!! If you do the right way then it fly good but if you did wrong way and it went curve or really higher and can be stuck in the tree.. That not happened to us but that happened when I played with my brother's friends both of his friends want to play and they dont know how to do it and they did not wrong way and it was stucked in the tree 2 times!! Last time the disc stucked in the tree in almost top very very tall tree!! And we cant reach it and about 1 week later it went fall down because of windy and it was middle and finally we can reach it.. Right now is second time yellow disc is stuck in the tree again and same tree about middle a little bit higher!! Wait it will fall when it windy or storm... When my father, friends, others and I played it sometimes stuck in the tree but it lower and we can reach and get it! Not same as happened to my brother's friends and we cant reach it!! ) So be careful when you play it.. If you know how to do and play it then you will be fine... We know how to do it and we not get like that stuck in the tree and cant reach it... If you dont know how to do it.. My suggestion first go play safe area like park or other that have big area so you can practice when you get it and know how to do it then you can play it on the street or need big area... Not good like in backyard need big area or on street fine ( We usually play on the street ) because it really went farther!!! Also You can catch it by one hand, two hands, use your arm go into the disc, and other. I usually use my arm go into the disc to catch it. My father did it one time he did it catch disc with his leg into the shoe. LOL that was funny I never saw that before and now first time he did it. I never do it yet and now I did tried it but I didn't make it yet. I played it with my father and saw my neighbor friend and I said to him "Come on, do you want to play?" Then he said "OK" and he joined and played with us. He liked it and I said "We will play again..." My father and I played it almost everyday. Later on another day I saw my other neighbor friend. I showed him and he said "COOL, I will play with you some day..." My friends, family and I like it!!! And also I brought it to school and showed some of my friends and teachers. They liked it too and they said that they will buy one one too... I noticed that many of my friends, family, school teachers, and others liked it and want to buy it... So I am sure that you will like it too so you should buy one... Also I really recommend this disc to anyone who who likes to play throw and catch a frisbee. They should buy it!!! If you have any questions ok go ahead ask me I will answer your questions..

These things fly!
I've recently purchased this Aerobie for some entertainment and a personal retro experience. These things are amazing, but do require some practice and skill. Many years ago - multiple decades really - I purchased my first Aerobie ... and got frustrated. Since this flying ring is so aerodynamic it will fly very far, or not, depending on the skill of the thrower. Unlike a frisbee, this ring is not forgiving in any way from its launch attitude and greatly amplifies any deviation from a flat and level launch. If you angle it down in the least, it will slam into the ground. If you tilt it upwards, it will fly overhead and much further than you intend, and any side tilt errors result in a lot of exercise for the receiver. However, do not be dismayed. WIth some light and easy throwing practice with an equally committed partner, you will learn that absolute level and straight flight is achievable and repeatable. You will easily and repeatedly throw right to a receiver 50-75 yards away. It looks simple and almost poetic - until a less skilled observer tries. If you allow that, be prepared for a chase. Winds are a challenge for the Aerobie catcher. Cross winds will of course push it up on a side and cause a turn, but it's the head and tail winds that are more tricky. They cause multiple small, quick, random changes in altitude that really test your reflexes. Once you get the hang of regular flight, winds actually add an element of fun. The only drawback to these flying machines, I dare not call them toys, is that the edges are delicate. Although I've used a single Aerobie for years of hard play, over time the edge lip will get damaged and bent to a degree that affects the flight trajectory. This can happen because of that unskilled thrower, a crash into something pointed and hard, or storage on its edge (store it flat!). When that happens, just resign yourself to replace the Aerobie since there is no way to fix it once the lip damage is "set" into the rubber edge. For an even better solution, I believe there are 3 packs available for your initial purchase. One similarity to frisbees though is I believe the bigger diameter Aerobie's are easier to learn and throw than the smaller ones. Their greater weight and size makes all aspects of throwing, flight, and catching as easy, and impressive, as possible. Good luck, and enjoy your Aerobie!

Mixed feelings
Very little force is needed to send this thing flying very far. The sides are rubbery and soft, so if it hits someone in the face (like an unsuspecting baseball player across the great lawn in central park - we feel terrible about that, by the way), no real damage is done. Mine arrived with a crease on the side and more formed while it was being thrown around, although I think these are superficial. It loses a star because aiming is really hard at anything over 15 feet. We also brought a frisbee and ended up using it a lot more because the disk would constantly fly in random directions when caught in the wind. I wasn't able to perform any kind of intentional curves as the weight causes it to straighten out and fly in a direction I didn't mean to throw it. One other thing to keep in mind is that branches fit nicely through the hole in the middle. We had to climb a tree to get it out. Summary: A good ($10) Frisbee was more fun for us (23 year old guys) as we could aim and perform various tricks that could not be pulled off with this. Probably great for kids though due to the soft edges.

The claims are true... they DO fly very far.
Note that this isn't a disc, nor is it a "Frisbee." It's a ring. But all of the claims from others are true. This ring DOES fly very far, much further than any other disc or Frisbee I've ever thrown. I can't throw worth beans, but even I can throw an Aerobie about 100 yards. Because of this, they are a LOT of fun, and will provide hours of enjoyment. My friends and I play "disc" golf with them at a local disc golf park, but instead of using discs we use Aerobies. They ARE more likely to get stuck in trees than a disc (because it's a ring and the ring gets hung up on the branches), and they DO sink in water. The final disadvantage is they also require "tuning" from time to time. The plastic is much softer than the plastic of your typical disc or Frisbee. When the plastic gets bent or warped a bit, (from constantly hitting objects with it, like we are prone to do when playing disc golf) you have to "tune it" by bending it back into shape. If your Aerobie is curving towards the left, you need to bend the ring down. If it's curving towards the right, you need to bend it up. These tuning instructions are printed right on the ring for you. Now and then, when you purchase one, you will get a "bad" ring. I've ordered a dozen or two over the past year or so, for me and my friends. One or two of them just didn't fly very well for us, straight out of the box, no matter how much we tried to "tune" it. I throw my Aerobie backhanded, and my friends toss their overhanded. They often toss it a bit further than I do, but I think my method produces MUCH more accurate throws. I can consistently hit a small target while standing 20 or 30 yards away. I recommend this product heartily. And at $8.02 (the current price as I type this), you can't go wrong. Lots and lots of fun.

I'm only 10 and this product is awesome for me. It flew very far and it was very accurate. Mine came in pink and purple. Too bad you can't pick your color. Just as long as you avoid trees, you are good to go. Overall, it's a good product. Ok, time for an update. I played even more with it and it still a good product. It flies very fast, and I could throw it about 435 feet off of a 10 year old's (Me) throw before it got stuck in a tree. I've mastered the tree situation, but the wind takes control of 50% of a throw. The distance is spectacular with the wind, but if you throw in to the wind, it is basically a boomerang. The material is very strong but light and overall it's pretty good, a quality product. Update time, people. I played with it even more, and it is great. When my friend and I were tossing it around, it hit a tree at a flaming speed. I thought it would break, but it's too tough for that. The crazy thing is, it flies nice and easy toward you, then it does a weird maneuver. I could talk forever, but I'll sum it up in 1 sentence: Really fast, far, throws, extremely durable, yet unbelievably light, easy to throw, and fun. I am happy about the purchase. ☺☻

Simply the BEST frisbee EVER!
Simply the BEST frisbee EVER made! I took my two young boys down to our community pool a couple of weeks ago and there was a young couple there and they had one of these frisbees. The young man was so gracious as to indulge my two little boys and was throwing the frisbee to them and playing with them. My boys are 6 and 8 and they just loved it because it was so easy to catch and to throw. I went the next day to Dick's to try and and buy it for my boys but they were sold out and so I was excited to find it on Amazon. Since it has arrived we have taken it daily to our community pool to play with and have played it with it in our backyard. Just two things I want to point out about this frisbee - first it does NOT float. The sound couple mentioned they lost their first one in the ocean not realizing it would sink. My boys have enjoyed diving to get this frisbee when it sinks in the pool but just heads up it will not float (even though you would certainly think it would) AND it will go far and fast. We were playing with it in our backyard and even though my sons wouldn't be able to throw a traditional frisbee so far that it would go over the fence this one certainly does. It is part of what makes it so great and so easy for my boys but heads up before you lose it over a fence or in the ocean because once you get this you will not want to lose it. A must have for any young family!

Awesome Frisbee, Great for my dog!
This frisbee goes so far! I have to throw the tennis ball four or five times to tire my dog out the same as with one throw of this frisbee. Even with him chewing it on the way back to me, it’s still goes very far on the next throw, and even when I don’t throw it properly and it curves sideways it still goes very far! No matter what my dog is going for a long run to retrieve my aerobie!
