Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Topical Analgesic Sore Muscle and Arthritis Pain Relief Warming Liniment Rub, 12 Ounce Gel

I bought this gel for my father, who suffers from joint pain, especially in his knees and shoulders. After trying several products, this has become one of his favorites. He really likes it because he feels noticeable relief shortly after applying it, which helps him stay more comfortable throughout the day. The gel is easy to apply, absorbs well, and provides a pleasant cooling sensation. While it is marketed as a veterinary product, it has worked very well in our experience as a topical rub for temporary relief of muscle and joint discomfort. Overall, this has been an excellent purchase, and we will continue buying it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a topical product that provides fast, soothing relief for sore muscles and joints.

As a couple of other reviewers noted, when a friend recommended this stuff, I thought he was joking...and then one day I was passing a horse supply store and stopped in to see if they had it...and when I asked one of the sales people if they did, he noted that more people bought this particular rub for themselves than for their horses...and the price was right for a fairly large bottle of it. I am old so arthritis, lower back pain, joint pain in general are steady issues....I tried some of this on my lower back (and I thought I had tried everything over a period of 30 years!) and I was able to go on a long hike without the typical agony requiring me to sit down every 100 yards...in a word " amazing!" ....I like the feeling it provides, I like the smell which I do not find overpowering at all, a little dab will do ya, but be careful about using your application hand anywhere near your eyes...I have since been thru 3 more bottles of this gel...I just ruptured my proximal biceps tendon which was quite painful, especially when I went to bed thru the night...but once again this simple gel proved very effective....relatiavely inexpensive compared to some of the other salves and gels I have tried over the years...it does not irritate my skin, it absorbs pretty fast and gives at least 2-3 hours of relief.

This product is absolutely amazing for sore muscles and when you have a fever. It is advertised for animals, but it absolutely can be used on any human. It is just menthol gel, and it is really, really helpful after hard work and workouts. The price is right, and chiropractors are selling this product at five times the price.

It is the best jel or menthol that has been tested definitely it is not uncomfortable to use it since it is not extremely hot in the skin like other menthols this is cold and it is not annoying it relaxes your muscle and eliminates the great pain . It has a gel texture, you apply it and after a while you have no residues left, nor is it sticky, in truth, it has served me a lot, I would recommend it a thousand times, it is very good.

I use this on my limbs to relieve soreness. Arms, legs, lower back. This is a great product. Very easily applied. Very consistent to relieve pain.

This stuff really works. I pulled a muscle in my back and it stopped the pain pretty quickly. I also had knee pain and it helped immensely. Since Watkins doesn’t make linemint any longer this is the next best thing

Great lotion for muscle aches and pains. Also great for joint aches. Works almost immediately.

After receiving a recommendation from a fellow fibromyalgia sufferer in the United States, I decided to purchase this product for those days when I need additional relief beyond my regular medication. Pros: • A small amount goes a long way • Provides noticeable pain relief • Good value for money, as only a minimal amount is needed per use Cons: • The spearmint fragrance is quite strong and lingers for some time • While effective, it lacks the warming or burning sensation associated with products like Deep Heat • It is primarily marketed for use on animals, so human application is technically off-label So over all it’s a decent bug and a good items to have as a backup. I also use Biofreeze gel, which I find to be slightly more effective. It has a similarly strong menthol scent initially, but the fragrance dissipates much more quickly than that of Absorbine.

This stuffs excellent. I use it for my doggies, and also for insect bites, stings, aching muscles etc. I used to buy the one that didn't actually say "vets"liniment!! But it's changed labels. Used to use it for horses but lovely natural ingredients like tea tree, peppermint, and other natural.goodies make this just perfect for my sensitive hounds. V good for cooling them down as well. Pop half a teaspoon on a nice clean cloth, dilute it down as it's quite concentrated, and wipe down as required. Pesky insects soon get the message, fleas go running off at speed. 😁 American product origally I believe, quite old fashioned, still used today. Tried and tested x !!
