This is the best itching/moisturizing cream I have tried and I have tried many. There is no fragrance. I have fragrance allergies. I do not buy any product with a pump anymore. They just dont work. I can't get them started or when I do the pump doesn't last long and there is a lot of product left in the container. I have very sensitive skin and the itching drives me crazy.. This stops the itching within minutes. I will always buy the 16 oz. jar becaise it is easy to use. Thank you CerVe. I haven't had this long. Hopefully I will continue to get relief. And my skin feels better too. AND it is not greasy.

This stuff does its job well! After extreme and unexplained hives and itching, I was desperate for relief. I have bought several other lotions and creams and even started taking allergy pills and a Benadryl from time to time...NOTHING HELPED, until now! I get itchy, I apply this cream, the itching stops and life goes back to normal! So amazing to have finally found relief!

I have a lot of eczema and dermatitis. This cream helps stop mild itching as my skin starts to heal from flare ups. (Have to use steroid cream for the actual flare ups) I slather this on pretty think and let it sit with cotton or bamboo sleeves over and it is really helping my skin finally heal.

I have had such a rough 3 months fighting a terrible dermatitis flare up, from doctors visits, steroid creams, lotions, changing my diet, changing skincare, changing towels, etc... I have tried it all. Nothing worked for me and none of the other ointments or creams were able to provide me the relief this one has and it's my first day of using it. My skin doesn't feel as unbearably itchy and I feel like I can finally have a moment that is stress-free. It's easy to apply, affordable for the relief it provides, and a thicker consistency so you can really layer it on. Best of all, there's no steroids in the formula, as someone who was so skeptical of steroids due to skin thinning over time, this is magic in a tub. I really recommend buying some HOCL spray as well to kill the bacteria on the skin first and then applying this over it. I feel so much relief I could cry.

Soothing and nice and clean to use, not greasy at all, but does nothing for really dry, scratchy skin other than for a few minutes. But it's good for normal, regular use.

This light and absorbing cream has no smell. It actually does work well and quiets the itch for hours. It doesn't make my skin numb; my skin will simply feel normal, but with no itch.

thank GOD for this-i got hives all over for the first time in my life and cortisone 10 and calamine did nothing but this-it took a little while but i've had pretty much an itch free day so far-just started a little afer about 5 hrs so used a little more and it's gone

Overall, this cream works well, but it's important to know what it is meant for. If you have a rash or a severe allergic reaction, this is probably not going to provide the relief you need. This is best for dry skin, so make sure you understand that before purchasing. This brand CeraVe is very good, and I actually use it as a daily moisturizer because I have extremely dry skin, especially during the winter months. When my allergies flare up and my skin gets irritated, this is one of the products I reach for. During the winter, I also apply it to my arms to help keep my skin hydrated. It works great for moisture and dryness, but it's not a treatment for serious skin reactions.

This review is for the cream in the tub version, not the lotion. This has a similar thick consistency to the Body Shop’s body butters. It works for mosquito bites and itchy irritated skin due to other reasons. It has a topical analgesic which starts working within minutes and the effect lasts for 6-8 hours. Clean the area first with soap and water, dry it and apply this liberally. Then leave it alone. Don’t touch it, certainly don’t itch it. I always get giant bumps, mostly on my legs and upper arms, due to mosquito bites and they itch for days. Days! Then they don’t heal properly since I can’t keep myself from itching. It’s not a fun experience. Those pesky little things bite through pants and shirts. I use bug repellents but they’re not always 100% effective. Since I also like outdoors, this seems like the perfect solution. Just don’t stop using a repellent in the first place to prevent it from happening. If you still get bitten or if you have eczema, this cream works great.

Healed my grandfather's years of eczema within a week's time. Reliefs itching almost immediately, need to be applied immediately when n you feel the itch. Best results: use on affected area right after shower on damp skin esp at night

This cream is thick and luscious and works really well for kids and adults alike
