**Solid First Experience with the Naturehike 60L Backpack** I used this Naturehike 60L backpack on the North Coast Trail (Vancouver Island) during the week of July 1. I had rain for several days, and the rugged trail, mud, river crossing made it a good test for the backpack. This was my first Naturehike backpack, and overall I was happy with it. It's lightweight and has a practical layout with a few pockets, side compression straps, a large front stretch pocket, and shoulder strap pockets that were handy for my phone and other small items. I was a little concerned about durability , especially for the front stretch pocket, since the pack was constantly brushing against trees and rocks, but it came through the trip without any damages. ( i fell a few times, there were muds, too) I used the rain cover on the first day but left it off on the second, even though it rained most of the day. I noticed a some amount of moisture inside especially on the top side of the backpack, but none of my gear got wet since my clothing and sleeping bag were packed in waterproof dry bags. The only observation I had was that the shoulder straps felt a little bit stiff on my shoulder after long days of hiking, although that may just be a matter of adjusting the fit like any new backpack. I'll watch this and report back in near future. After 5 days on the North Coast Trail. This backpack handled it well, and I plan to use it again on future backpacking adventures.

Its lightweight and the waist belt and the frame supports the weight nicely. Its simple so i like it. Not much pocket. Its my 1st so call lightweight frame bag. So its ok for weekend or novice hikers.

I took this backpack with me on a 580km hike through Scandinavia. While I was initially worried if it would hold up, I can say it performed exceptionally well! The pack was loaded with at least 10-12kg at all times. It survived the airport handling twice without any noticable damage. I've been constantly brushing along trees, bushes and scraping along rocks with the backpack and have had no tears or other damage. The elastic ropes on the sides are really robust and so are the elastic nets on the sides. The backpack was comfortable to wear, wearing it for up to 10 hours a day. It never cut me or felt irritating at any pressure point. I particularly liked the many ropes and straps that can serve as anchor points to affix anything at all to it. The bag has a strap with a clip to it that goes from the sides of the bag to the back: I used those straps a lot to dry my laundry on-the-go and as an extra securement for the raincover so it wouldn't fly away. Overall, I'm very impressed with the bag at this price point. However, a few small things that could be improved: - The mesh bag on the left shoulder strap seemed ideal to put my phone (Galaxy S24) in, but was not deep enough to fit most modern phones in it completely (so the phone couldn't fall out bending over) - The pockets on the belt could be a little bigger to fit more snacks/tools - The raincover actually isn't big enough to fit over the whole bag when the bag is quite stuffed - The bag doesn't have a seperate accessible compartiment for the sleeping bag as many bags do (which wasn't a huge dealbreaker for me)

Been backpacking off and on for a decade and needed something lighter. I haven’t had a chance to bring this one out yet but so far I think it’ll do the trick, it is basically a big sack with thin frame so there’s not much to go wrong. Just don’t fill it up with really heavy items because this doesn’t have the luxurious frame you’d get for $400, but if you have a lightweight setup this 2.5lb pack will be perfect for you. To give you an idea of the size I can easily slide in my foam sleeping pad vertically inside and place my tent, little wood Solo Stove lite, air sleeping pad, sleeping bag, trekking poles, all inside. That’s not how I’ll actually pack it but just wanted to gauge the space. I’m “6’2” and 180lbs and the hip belt rests nicely on my waist. I’ve heard of reviews saying the straps aren’t great but I will update this review after I’ve hiked a few hours in it, but so far it feels as comfortable as my other pack. For $109 you won’t find anything else this light and functional. If you want a luxurious bag with tons of pockets then spend $250+. I find all the extra pockets on other bags just make me lose things and become disorganized.

Light. Comfortable to wear for long hikes. Would prefer some more large pockets, now I use bags to keep things separated. Good price. Quality seems reasonable, but we'll know in a year or two.
