Review: Love and use this series often - 8th Grade Homeschool Review: As a parent and homeschool educator, I've been using a set of books for 8th-grade homeschooling, and I'd like to share my thoughts. These books have proven to be a valuable resource in our homeschool journey. They provide a solid foundation for various subjects, covering a wide range of topics essential for 8th-grade students. What I appreciate most about these books is their comprehensive approach. They offer a well-structured curriculum that allows students to delve into subjects such as mathematics, science, literature, and history. The content is clear, and the exercises and activities help reinforce the learning process. However, it's worth noting that while these books are fantastic as guides, they might not provide all the answers. As with any educational materials, there may be moments when students need additional support or clarification. In such cases, we've found supplemental videos and other educational resources to be incredibly helpful. The combination of these books and supplementary materials has been the key to a well-rounded education. Subnote: This review is intended to serve as a general overview for all the books I'm currently using for 8th-grade homeschooling. If any of the books stand out, either for their exceptional quality or shortcomings, I will provide a more detailed review for that specific book. It's all about ensuring that our homeschooling experience is as enriching as possible.

A Great Self-Study Guide, but It Requires Commitment
Everything You Need to Ace Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 in One Big Fat Notebook is very well written and makes the material clear and approachable. The explanations are easy to follow, and the book is organized in a way that allows you to learn independently and progress at your own pace. It is an excellent resource for reviewing important concepts or building your math skills from the ground up. I gave it four stars because, at more than 600 pages, completing it requires a significant investment of time and a great deal of self-discipline. It is not a quick study guide, but readers who are willing to work through it consistently will find it extremely useful. Overall, it is a thorough and valuable learning tool for anyone serious about mastering pre-algebra and Algebra 1.

Everything about algebra & pre-algebra.
I really like this book, it has lots of information about math, including themes like algebra, ratios, proportions, percent, linear equations, inequalities etc.. This book has a hard cover, it doesnโt break easily and itโs not extremely delicate since itโs not floppy like other books. This is a great book to get if youโre studying algebra or pre-algebra. With more to add, the book is eye catching because of its extravagant pink cover, everything in the book is well organized, and itโs doesnโt look overwhelming to read or go over.

Well written, easy to read
Well written, easy to read. Sadly doesn't include the last 2 years of high school if you choose a science or math section, but still good value overall. I wish the font they used didn't make 1 and 7 look so similar.

the best value books for what they teach
i love this series of book's, My only issue is that there arent enough of them; they dont have algebra 2, calculus, physics, trigonometry, etc. These books generally have everything you'll need to grasp the basics and build a solid foundation to move onto harder topics. The explanations are clear and concise, the topics gradually build on the previous ones, the diagrams are very easy on the eyes and the quality of the books themselves is nice but the cover is a bit flimsy and can crease. The book itself is a bit light on questions and doesn't cover all of algebra 1 (and has zero trigonometry) but no book is perfect and for the price of this book, you can't go wrong.
