Peerless Performer Microphone

The two year old would not stop singing, playing with this. He even took it up on the couch to display his singing ability, which sucked. Its ok, cause he is Adorable, and we all got a good show. The bottom lights up with all different colors, which he kept stomping on, and singing. The mike comes off to just hold it. The only draw back is, this is not that loud , but I guess it didn’t have to be, cause the 2 year was singing LOUD..

My then 2 year old loved this so much, that I bought a second one 2 years later so my little one could use. My 4 year old still enjoys being a rock star and getting her "claps and applauses". She is tall and the height adjusts nicely to her size. My youngest loves pushing the buttons to make the lights flash and hearing his voice. It's not too loud, it is sturdy, the lights turn off so you can have the mic on but save battery. Would recommend to anyone who wants a microphone without paying too much

It would be nice if the microphone had a volume control (I think. what parent really loves that noise toy) but the price is awesome for what you get. My son loves it and is always singing in it. I love that the height adjust so he can grow with it.

I bought this for my grandson and he LOVES it. He had been using and loving we had at our house that was my son's and daughters (ages 10 & 6) so I knew he would love this. I got him a set of drums too... LOL His mother hasn't killed me yet so I guess I'm OK. Our grandson is 2 so he can put on concerts with his aunt & uncle (again, ages 10 & 6) and have lots of fun.

Very low quality. Stopped working on the second day we played with it. Some type of electrical issue. Not something the kids caused. Bought it early for Christmas so the return window had closed by the time we opened it. Very poor quality and would like my money back!

Volume on microphone not very loud compared to volume of sound buttons (clapping, etc), and there is not a volume control to increase volume on microphone. My 1 1/2 yr old cannot turn on the power herself (since it is a sliding switch), but she can press/step on large sound buttons. She likes to talk into the microphone (she tends to put mic in her mouth because she doesn't understand she can talk in front of it ... So watch out for this!). The adjustable height of stand is helpful. This toy accomplishes the purpose I bought it for ... To keep her busy with her own microphone so she leaves my real microphone alone. (My keyboard & mic is setup in our living room). *My 3-star rating is because the sound effect noises are louder than the microphone, which I think it the opposite of how it should be setup.

Got this for my 5 year old daughter's b.day. She loves it and so does her big brother who is 7. It is very durable, as the 10 month old baby also chews on the cord and microphone. The sound effects are very realistic, and the kids think it's fantastic! We are super happy with it.

I bought this for my son, thinking it would be a fun toy for him. Unfortunately I was rather disappointed. The microphone seems to be just for show, because it doesn't actually amplify anything. He has a silly little plastic microphone with spiral wires inside that amplifies his voice more than this. I even tried it myself and barely noticed a difference. I know it's a toy, but they could still make the microphone better than that. Also, the sound effects from the buttons are way too fake sounding. Again, it's a toy, check, but at least make the sounds a bit more believable. It's not like it would be all that difficult. This toy has also now completely stopped working, even with fresh batteries, and I wish I had never purchased it in the first place. Even if you have to spend a little more, find a better karaoke set than this.
