I like this biltong!
Some of the other biltongs that I have tried were more like jerky which is not all that palatable to me because it's too hard to chew and I can't really enjoy it because of that. This, however, is really good stuff and not all tough and funky. And the flavor is sumptuous. I'm doing ketovore right now andthat's working really well for me but I like to have a way to grab a good high protein snack and beef is the best but so many of them are really super expensive and not always real high quality. This is what I like to call baby bear, in other words, just right. The price is really decent as well!

You have to eat it with a spoon.
The jerky was sliced โโso thinly that it didn't dry properly, resulting in it crumbling completely. It seems I'll have to eat it with a spoon. I purchased this alongside another variety and intended to return this specific one, but it turns out it isn't eligible for return. I was expecting a crisp, biscuit-like texture; however, it isn't crisp at all and has fallen apart, so I cannot recommend purchasing this product.

Good for snacking
I bought the steakhouse flavor, and found it a little too strong for my tastes. Next time I think I'll try the Naked flavor. I recently started a low carb diet and these are great for snacking during the day. I often skip breakfast, but some mornings will snack on this at work. No mold on mine like others have commented. After opening keep the package sealed, or transfer to your own small ziplock bag and you'll be fine.

THE BEST
Absolute best Flavor, taste, not chewy or over seasoned. Takes like a a top quality steak. Blows carnivore crisps out of the water.

Lazy, disgusting, and lacking flavor
This product is a disgusting mess. Biltong is dried as an entire piece of meat then sliced thinly. There is a bit of oil that is produced when the knife slices through some of the fatty parts of the meat. This product is oily beyond comprehension. It is covered in oil and it completely lacks any distinction between the outer layer which is exposed to the air and forms a slight crust around the whole piece of meat. The inner portion of biltong should be a slightly lighter color like a salami instead of this dark brown piece of turd. This provides a sharp distinction between the extremely thin crust which has a stronger flavor due to the herbs on the outside which contrasts with the mellow but beefier flavor of the interior. Aside from being disgustingly covered in grease, it also has a slightly bitter aftertaste that covers up the natural beef flavor. It's obvious that they have no idea what biltong is. I fed the rest of it to my friend's dog.
