High-quality multi-tasker moisturizer
This is a quality, versatile product that makes my skin look like I had a facial. I use it as a moisturizer and enjoy the way it primes my skin for makeup. My skin is combination and the formula does not clog my pores, instead, it seems to erase them. I love that you can use it to cleanse your skin, which makes it a good multi-tasker for travel. It is gentle enough to be used around your eyes, too. The scent is delicious and the product is light and creamy.

Now I Get the Hype — This French Cult Classic Makes Skin Look Instantly Better
I’m 52, post-menopausal, with dry, sometimes temperamental skin, and I’ll be honest — I bought this because I had to understand why Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré has been a backstage, makeup-artist staple for decades. And now? I completely get it. This cream does something that’s surprisingly hard to find: it makes skin look and feel immediately better without being heavy, greasy, or complicated. The texture is rich but silky, and it melts into the skin with just enough slip to smooth everything out. My face instantly feels softer, more comfortable, and better hydrated — like my skin just relaxed. On dry, mature skin, this is gold. It takes away that tight, dull look and replaces it with a healthy, plump finish that works beautifully on its own or under makeup. As a makeup base, it’s excellent. Foundation glides on more smoothly, doesn’t cling to dry patches, and looks more skin-like throughout the day. It’s not a silicone primer — it’s skin prep, and it shows. What I appreciate most is how unfussy and dependable it is. No irritation, no stinging, no overactive ingredients trying to “do too much.” It’s just deeply comforting moisture that supports the skin barrier and makes everything layered on top look better. I use it in the morning, at night, and even as a quick fix when my skin feels dry or stressed. This isn’t trendy skincare — it’s classic for a reason. If you have dry or post-menopausal skin and want something that instantly improves how your skin looks and feels, this absolutely deserves its cult status. I’m really glad I finally tried it, and it’s earned a permanent spot in my routine.

very nice in the first week ~
Skincare snob review: So with moisturizers, I like to do an initial first-week-in review, then update it towards the end of the tube if I kept with it. This moisturizer which they also call a masque AND a makeup primer is kina wonderful. I love it's texture; so creamy. Light and creamy which would make me as an old woman, worry that it didn't have enough moisturizing heft to qualify as top tier, but I'm really liking that by 5pm I can tap my cheeks and my face is still wonderfully hydrated from a morning squeeze. Whoever said use a "pea size amount" must not like a good drenching. I would say I use more like a small raspberry size dollop. I'm quite happy so far, I'm a lap swimmer and rely heavily on quality hydration. The smell is not horrible, it smells lightly like a bouquet of flowers, not overpowering but not fragrance free, I think my 27-yo daughter would not like it for this artificial add. I'm in for the rest of the tube! Will report back soon ~

Good for sensitive skin
I have been using this for years and though I might use other moisturizers I always come back to this. It’s more of a lotion consistency, not a thick cream. It’s perfect for my combo skin and under any of my foundations it gives a smooth finish. My skin does get drier in winter and this moisturizes all day. I also like it’s being squeezed out of a tube instead of dipping my finger in a container. No scent and never stings when my skin is acting up so it’s great for sensitive skin. Just a great basic to always have.

Nice Moisturizer
This is a nice moisturizer. It’s gentle and has a mild, pleasant scent. I primarily use it at night but it could be used for day use too. I don’t find it to be an especially good makeup primer. Bobby Brown makes a better one, but it may work for some. It isn’t too heavy but moisturizes well and is calming for dry, winter skin. It is a bit expensive, but a good moisturizer doesn’t cost that much less. You don’t need a lot of it so the tube should last awhile. My only objection is the hard container tube it comes in. I prefer the softer ones that allow every last drop to be gotten out of the tube. It is on the expensive side but worth pit if you enjoy the gentleness of the product and the effectiveness against dry winter skin. It’s worth a try to see if it works for you.

Best moisturizer/primer for over 40!
I love this product! Is it pricey, yes, but it's SO worth it. It does have a slight fragrance, I'm not bothered by fragrances so I like it. I only use this on days that I'm doing a full face of makeup. I apply it after finishing my skincare routine and before applying sunscreen. I've tried many different moisturizers and found that this one does the best in terms of actually moisturizing. It works well with my other products and there's no peeling or dry patches after use. I will buy again and again!

Perfect for dry, peeling skin.
My skin has been so so so dry. This is the only moisturizer that has made my skin feel soft and hydrated again, with the added bonus of priming my skin for makeup. I like the smell a lot. The texture is thinner than I expected, but doesn’t disappear into my skin. I don’t feel any dryness or tightness hours into wearing it. My makeup looks great. This is such a good product for dry skin and helping it stay hydrated in cold weather.

Great daily moisturizer
I have dry skin and in winter the sunscreen I use just was too dry. This Is moisturizing but not too heavy and then I can put a sunscreen over it. Pleasant light fragrance as well
