I’m a beginner archer with a small backyard range. I bought three sets of these - each a different color. Good price and good value. The arrows are high quality — or at least high enough quality for my purposes. They seem well designed and solid. I would buy them again.

I shot this arrow with a 45-50lb Compound I use for practice and just release work on form. This arrow worked flawless and was spot on accuracy. It weight in at 510gr and I would have no problem using it for hunting or target work. The bow is really quiet with this heavy arrow and I can tell it is a mass produced cheaper arrow - definitely not a Gold Tip / Victory / Carbon Express Arrow, but I really don't care. It does the job for bow practicing / release and for general use just fine. Mine was the 28" arrow. So if you are looking for some inexpensive arrows to shoot 20-40yds with a lower pound compound bow or recurve bow, this is what you want to use. Shoot it into a soft target and not anything hard and put a dab of $1 clear nail polish on the fieldpoint threads, let it dry a few hours and the field points stay in the arrow fine without unscrewing. I will buy again if I need more down the road. Happy with purchase and knew what I was getting for some low cost arrows.

This are very good for beginners where there will be a greater probability of losing arrows, or shooting arrows into rocks or other hard objects that will result in damage to an aluminum arrow. The fletching is on the smaller size but they are accurately placed and glued on. The nocks as noted in the online description are pushed into place. Allowing the end user to rotate and reposition that nock, if needed and once re-positioned that can be glued in place. These arrows are a bit heavy, but the price explains that. If one is a beginner using a lighter weight bow, a heavy arrow might be harder to shoot far down range, and that might be a good thing if shooting in one's backyard. The slightly heavier weight would also decrease the long distance range when shooting at a public range, thus hopefully decreasing the chances of over shooting targets and losing arrows that are flying far down range.

This is a good price for a pack of 12 field tipped arrows. They are quite durable and have held up well to being shot through fences and bottles and into wood. If they are pulled out of wood too often, the threaded insert for the tip starts to detach, but you can superglue them back in. The nocks come from the box in an improper position but pictures and the included manuals say to rotate them with a coin since they aren't glued in. I experience the usual wear and tear such as fletching ripping off over time (not peeling off, the glue is strong) and dulling tips, but with my bows, a lost fletching doesn't change much, and tips can be unscrewed and sharpened. Other times I had some shafts get shot with another arrow because sometimes they don't stick straight into the target and kind of lay across it instead, but that is more to do with the power of the bow. Just be careful and reset the target when that happens. I'm updating this review because today I found that there is a slight bump on one side of the nock which makes pulling them out of a quiver in the proper orientation much easier for faster shooting. It's a nice touch.

Ok, just got these a few minutes ago. Have run diameter and weight test. They are a little bigger that 7.8 diameter and weigh a little more than I would like, but other that they all seem to be pretty well matched. They are well made and very nice looking, well packaged and no damages or bent or flawed vanes. I have not loosed any yet, but the price is well worth the money. I don't think I would fret if I loose any out in the woods. Actually, they are the nicest looking cheap set of arrow I have received in a long time. Five stars for first look. And, for accuracy, probably only as good as I can shoot.

I bought these arrows based on the good reviews and price point, but wasn't expecting much. Having finally taken them out to the range I can say without reservation that these arrows are very good. They fly consistently and accurately out of my 40# SAS Spyder. I was concerned about the plastic fletchings causing the arrows to kick out when fired. However, when I twisted them in the knock to ensure that they would not contact the riser these arrows shot great! I will be buying more.

Product photos states suitable for 30-55# draw weight, but product description states 40-60# draw weight. I tried these in my wife 25# recurve and they are weight to stiff and heavy, especially if the person has a shorter than 28" draw length such as my wife having a 25.5" draw length but even when I shoot these arrows in her bow I have a 28" draw length and they shoot like lead and weigh too stiff with impact far nock right of point. I tried these same arrows in my 40# recurve and similar performance but not as extreme. These arrows are listed as 500 spine and simply don't shoot and impact straight up to 40# bows. We have shot these arrows approx. 500+ times and they are durable and affordable but not tuned properly.
