Easy but fatally flawed.
Locks like this do not stand up to weathering well, they need constant oiling.Do not use it outside to protect valuables. Use it behind another lockable defence [door etc]. And pay half the price and get slightly better protection with standard disc combi locks.The rotating centre is a gimmick with a fatal design flaw!A thief can simply rotate the mechanism and snap the internals free, so not even requiring bolt cutters.Proof of claim > LockPickingLawyer. Heavy duty!
I use this lock at the gym -- I picked it because the reviews said it was heavy duty and easy to use. It is definitely heavy duty, but it tends to get stuck when I'm unlocking it. I can't unlock it with one hand, which is a little annoying, so that's why I took a star off. Overall, though, I like it because I feel like it is a visual deterrent for locker thieves, and it is easy enough to use.

Step 5 should say CLOCKWISE not counter clockwise
I had a little difficulty getting the lock open after following the printed instructions to set my own combination BECAUSE THERE IS A TYPO IN STEP 5 on the back of the package. It says, "To open lock, rotate combination ring COUNTER CLOCKWISE," and refers you to Figure 4. After re-reading all the directions and studying all the line drawings, I finally realized that a larger drawing separate from Figures 1 - 4 showed an arrow pointing CLOCKWISE and the note, "Indicates Direction to Turn to Open." Turning the dial clockwise was a little stiff the first time, but it opened! Now I can say that I love this lock! It is heavy duty and works great on the bolt lock of my shed. The numbers turn more easily after they have been spun a few times, but I keep its face toward the shed door to help keep rain or dust from getting in.
