Das Objektiv ist in allen Brennweiten bis in die Ränder scharf, der Autofokus arbeitet optimal und die Lichtstärke erlaubt ein freistellen von Motiven auch bei dieser kurzen Brennweite.

I bought this specifically to do astrophotography on a trip to Nevada/Arizona/Utah. It worked great. As others have said the clutch mechanism is a little awkward, but not quite enough to drop my review to 4 stars.

The focus was consistently soft on a Canon EOS R using the Canon EF to RF adapter. I have no issues with Canon lenses or a Sigma lens. The seller wants return postage paid for the return of the lens even though the lens is not of acceptable sharpness. And that is what they did - they changed the return from a faulty item to simply "a customer return", whereby I had to pay the return postage - what a con. Be careful dealing with this seller - buyer beware.

Canon80Dを購入し3年目。 初めて広角レンズに手を出したのがこのレンズでした。 目的は ・星景写真 ・家族のポートレート の、写真が撮りたくてこのレンズを選びました。 F2.0は流石ですね！ 背景がよくボケてくれるのと、星景写真に至っては添付した写真の通り、天の川までよく写りました！ 天の川に至っては、RAW現像した後Lightroomにて編集をしたらもっとよく写ると思います。 上記の2点が目的の方はオススメのレンズですね！
