Love the fan.
I saw the two bad reviews and had to speak up. Yes, this fan DOES NOT automatically come with fan blades, you order them separately. That said, you get to chose the length & color best suited for your space. Being cheap, I didn't want to pay the premium for this fan. (The wife talked me into it.) However, 18 months in, I've again come to see 'you get what you pay for'. We use this fan every night, 7 months a year. This fan is beautiful, it silently moves air (which is important for me) and -I expect- it will last a good many years. Our last 'expensive' fan is still spinning 15yrs on. To me, this is a speciality item - (motor size impacts fan blade sizes, cost, etc.) So we did our research online, but made the final purchase with a local retailer to be sure the parts would be right and we could talk to a human- in person- if they weren't.
