Do these have soft fiber, use for our diesel fill area on truck to clean diesel run off when it over fills. do NOT want to rub/harm finish or paint

I've used them to clean all sorts of stuff, vehicles included . Soft enough where I've never had a problem.

Seems much more expensive than the rolls. A 3-roll is $6 for 12.1 square meters. A box is $13 for 15.4 square meters. Are people paying for the box?

Sounds like you found a great deal. I don't think these towels are very good in general and I wouldn't purchase them again, but if you are going to buy them for yourself, it sounds like you should choose the deal you found. Personally, I would never buy them again because they are no better than paper towels.

8 boxes of 200 (1600 total) for 40.22 total is this correct or description wrong?

When I bought, I thought I was getting 8 for $37..got one box of 200, that's 3 times as much as buying locally.Sent them back.

They are a VERY heavy duty paper towel. The only problem with the box is that you can't tell when you are low. But they are a great shop towel.
