Does the trick.
Used for badly overdue replacement on a residential water system that includes a radiant floor system. Exactly what was needed to help minimize scale buildup. Needs to be changed regularly, interval depending on the hardness of your water. Can minimize scsle buildup in on-demand water heaters lessening the need for flushing the as often.

Great filter, perfect to Aquarium use
My water comes from the Township and they add Phosphate to the water. I have had algae problems in my fish tanks for years. This filter has made a big different. Wish I had found this earlier.

Works great and last about 6 month. Definitely a reorder item.

Burnt our skin!
If there were negative stars this would get it. Installed this filter on 2-28-17 to the water supply for our whole house. Day 2 my wife complained of feeling light headed and nausiated, I didn't think much of it because there are all kinds of "bugs" going around right now. We both noticed our skin a bit drier after our showers that night as well. Day 3 she still felt the same, maybe a little worse but after our showers that night our skin was terribly dry and felt like ocean water does on a day old sunburn. Day 4 I started to feel like my wife had been feeling and my skin after my shower that night was on fire like a chemical burn over my entire body (especially the sensitive skin areas including around my eyes and inside my ears). I got no sleep that night! Luckily I had the next day off work. In the morning I removed the filter and replaced it with a carbon filter, drained my water heater and flushed all the lines in our house. After a mid afternoon shower the burn decreased dramatically Thank Goodness but was still tender in the sensitive areas for yet another day. Two days after changing the filter and drinking plenty of water that had not gone through this filter, we both stopped feeling dizzy and weak.

Leaks the beads out.
Inside filter came apart and allowed the beads to enter the water system plugging up any thing down stream
