My new, favorite watch: Classic style, top materials, accuracy, fit & beautiful simplicity for $ 20....wow....what a value !
My new favorite watch....just the right look, heft, feel & function perfectly merged. The tough bracelet has just the right tension on my wrist. Stays tight even during vigorous workouts. (I did have to remove 3 links to size it right, not too hard & tutorials on YouTube guided me...) This watch neatly divides between 'dress watch' and 'sport watch' - it's both, really. So if you have to have just one watch to fulfill both dressy and sporty occasions, this won't be out of place in either case. The blue face color contrasts nicely with the medium silver case, and speaking of that, the case & bracelet quality screams 'nice, expensive', yet it's just $20 - amazing. The accuracy of the movement is stellar - spot on after 3 months of use. And with a 10 year battery, and no possible 'battery overuse' gizmos like watch light, etc, it should live up to the 10 year billing. Confession: I hate scratches on watch crystals ! Worthy of note, the face is protected by a tough mineral crystal, that is recessed a couple mm so the surrounding rim is higher, and thus it's protected from scratches. Case in point: I have worn this watch now going on 3 months daily, for my daily work, to church, to business meetings, casual affairs, yard work, car work, everything - not a single scratch yet - bravo, Casio. I bought another Casio Sport watch here that gets a new scratch every other wearing - as it's crystal is soft & vulnerable - raised so it's the first point of contact. Bad Design ! I also love the simplicity of this watch. After super multi-function digital gee-wow watches, this one is a breath of fresh air in it's beautiful simplicty: It just displays the exact time & date, period ! (We have our smartphones for more advanced stuff, right ?) How Casio can make & sell a watch of this style, materials & function, for $20, is beyond me. Now, what's not to like ? A couple of minor gripes - and areas for improvement, if Casio is listening: The watch hands can be hard to make out in **some** lighting conditions - having some outlining paint on them should help them stand out more. (and no, they're not luminecent) A 'diopter - magnifier' on the crystal face, over the date, to enlarge the date appearance, (would help those of us over 50 years !) Maybe also offer it in different face colors - gold, burgundy, etc. But these are the only areas to improve that would be fairly easy to implement & not detract at all from the already excellent style or appearance, just improve function slightly. So, Casio, please keep making this watch !

Great watch, terrible band.
I like to get a new, inexpensive watch every now and then, just to have something new and different to wear. So, over the years I have owned quite a few wrist watches. For what I paid for it, this Casio is about the best yet--it is very attractive (in my opinion) and if it is not closely scrutinized, it looks to be a lot more expensive than it is. The watch itself is excellent. Now.....about the band. The band is really big. Your wrist would have to be about the size of your ankle to match the size of the band. Okay, so the band needs to be adjusted. So what? So this--the band is fiendishly difficult to work with! Remember, I said I have owned lots of different watches and none of them, not ONE of them, was nearly, not-anywhere-close to being as hard to deal with as this one. I found a brief video on YouTube that gave me enough info to get started, but by the time I was done improvising, my desk was covered with tools of all sorts, including, mind you, a hammer. Wrapping this up, let me say that I finally accomplished the chore, the band fits well, and I am very pleased with my new Casio. If you aren't somewhat skilled in the used of small hand tools, and don't know someone who is, it is possible that you will have to take this to a jewelry/watch store for help. And there goes your savings. I cannot understand how a company that makes as many watches as Casio can justify using such crazy-ridiculous bands as these. User-friendly they ain't. User-unfriendly for sure.

Eye catching metallic blue dial ... this is an affordably priced and accurate quartz watch
The stainless steel color bezel is 41mm in diameter but it highlights the metallic blue face quite nicely giving the watch a much bigger look. SEE MY PHOTOS IN CUSTOMER IMAGES According to Casio, this watch is powered by a 10 year battery. I'll update this review if things go awry. PROS: Metallic blue dial is an eye catcher - this watch is very affordably priced. Still, it never sits on my hand without being noticed! The mineral glass is slightly lower than the stainless steel bezel reducing the possibility of scratches Easy to read Date display at the 3 o'clock position The stainless steel wrist band is comfortably lightweight and appears well built The watch band clasp has a double push safety so keep the watch secure on your hands Water resistant to 165 feet (50M) - according to Casio, 'it's suitable for wearing around sinks, during swimming, athletic sports in shallow water but not while snorkeling or scuba diving' The small screw down crown is easy to manipulate. At the three o' clock position, the crown never presses into my wrist when I move my hands upwards CONS: This watch has no unidirectional bezel. I agree, this is no dive watch, but I actually use watch bezels as countdown timers! This 50M water resistant Casio quartz movement watch is a very accurate timepiece. Powered by a ten year battery, this affordably priced watch with eye catching metallic blue dial is a great buy. Definitely 5 STARS! Check around before you buy this Model MTP3050D-2AV Casio Men's Classic Analog Dress Watch - the price varies on Amazon. Hope my review and photos were helpful ... Jeffrey A. (Jeff)

The band IS adjustable! Google it.
It's a decent cheap watch. Hard to read sometimes because of the sunburst dial finish. The band IS adjustable. You push the pins out to separate the links. This is common with many metal bracelet watches. I give it 4 stars only because it can be hard to read at a glance in bright light. You have to turn the watch away from the light in order to see the hands sometimes because of the reflection off the dial face. To those that complain about adjusting the band, understand that ALL metal link watches require a certain procedure for adjustment. A little research will help with this issue. There are many videos online that will demonstrate the process. You don't have to go to a jeweler to adjust the band. I paid a little over $17.00 for this watch back in 2016 and it's still running on the original battery. It's definitively worth that. Not really worth more than $20.00 in my opinion due to the dial face glare. At a little more than $30.00 here's a watch that's a better value: EF106D-2AV Casio 100M Water Res. Watch. I also have one of these and it's a great inexpensive watch. Easy to read, 10 year battery and 100 meter water resistance. It can be worn as a multi- purpose watch (within reason). Just take care of it and it will serve you well

Nice watch but...
When I saw this watch appearance (picture), description, and price on Amazon I liked it and decided to get myself one. But when i received it, I must admit that the picture looked nicer than the watch itself. Nonetheless I still liked it. It has a very solid bracelet. The battery is said to last for about 10 years and that would be a win if it really does. Also the band is too big for my wrist. However, it's not the type of band that you can easily re-size by yourself. So I have to pay $$$ to have it shortened. All this said, I would still recommend this watch for its look. Suitable to wear at any occasion. ------------------------------------------------ Update: I gave this 4 stars in August 2012 with the above comment. I've used this watch ever since till October 2016 when somebody stole it from me. In 4 years ownership, this watch has gone through lots of shocks: about 4 crashes with motorbike, lots of field hard work, showering and washing hands with it on, etc.. and the watch was still intact: screen not broken, never drowned, and I never had to change its battery. I moved outside the US when they stole it, and I could reorder it due to international shipping issues with Amazon. Then I just got the opportunity of an easy shipment from a good friend and reordered it. I got it today and I'm really happy. For the band adjustment issue, I watched a youtube video and found out it's actually very easy to remove the links, here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N42D4lwD5Ok So, for the resistance and great performance of this watch, I will still recommend it, even to my close friends. Affordable and last long
The battery died at 9 years. Affordable price and good quality so far. I purchased this Casio watch again. The band is a little hard to adjust because it requires small tools to push down and remove the joint piece. You can find how to do it at Youtube. Otherthan that, it is very affordable watch for men.

Very good
I bought the Casio MTP3050D-2AV as a gift, and it was an excellent choice. It’s a classic dress watch with an elegant, timeless design that works well for different occasions. The stainless steel finish feels high quality, and the blue dial adds a sophisticated touch without being too flashy. Overall, a great gift—stylish, functional, and impressive in presentation.

A dressy watch
A good value.Arrived on time. A dressy designed. However, not easy to tell time due to light reflection on the glass.
